Playing for Omaha U16, and has skated a few games for Tri-City in the USHL, recently committed to Colorado College.

Most teams struggle with early departures/transfers, but Spring Lake Park could have potentially had a first line of Austen Long (CC commit), Chase Ellingson (Breck's leading scorer), and Jacob Nystrom (Senior with 28 goals). Not to mention defenseman Nick Heid who is playing in the WHL for Portland...

Add Heid and Ellingson on that team......they'd probably be a top 5-10 team. The problems in SLP stem from defense, and a lot of that is coaching. Good move for Heid to leave, I hope Long is next.
