How many families that can't pay 100.00 for mite hockey consume 1000.00 worth of Mountain Dew a year? If it were not such a book keeping problem associations would be better off to charge per session for mite hockey. In our assn we have a ton of folks that can't figure out that 100.00 once is a muc...

Not to borrow Almosts post from above but please tell me that I'm just in off-season form and missed the sarcasm behind Ugottabes reply? Goldy seemed pretty spot on. Maybe a bit more clarity needed on parents who are coaches. Just sayin. :? Here is some more sarcasm to understand a point. If I'm a ...

Remember, this started two years ago with them when a goalie returned from Holy Angels, robbing someone of a net spot, due to hardship. Ironically, that same goalie got robbed last year when Ottenger (sp)came in. At some point, an example needs to be made. No, this all started when a group of youth...

IM - I thought my post was in the top 10... Maybe hard to communicate, but where do you fall? Do you have an opinion about the "state of hockey" today? Does that make sense? Good grief, another association bored member accepting personal top 10 status with no regard for children taking the open enr...

Let's be honest...90% of the time it's a dad who thinks his kid is to good for the association. He open enrolls his kid to a neighboring school because dad thinks the hockey is better. Don't kid yourself, it's never about the education. This dad probably ruffled feathers inside his own association ...

I was very disappointed with the defense in this tourney. I don't know if others will agree with me but I would much rather see low scoring, grind it out games. I don't think all the upsets in sections served it well this year. I would agree that defense is a position that more attention should be ...

Those who go Tier 1 down in WI and IL tend to find themselves amongst people who are more in line with their thinking and they find alot less "trouble" than they found in their associations where the thinking is all over the map. Very good observation. Jancze doesn't post here anymore, but he said ...

Now that we are back on topic, some might want to look into the definition of "stud" before continuing. Male animals used for breeding would not be a attribute attached to my hockey status but lets keep this rolling.

Yeah I agree, but putting the game back to within one goal can make a team play harder and with the idea that they could still pull it off. Being down by two puts doubt in a team's head. You can't win with doubt. While Breck was clearly the better team out there, the entire future of the game would...
