I believe Hill Murrays JV team is now 5-0 with added wins over STA and Mah. Very young team with mostly 9th graders.

Does it matter where you live
So you move your family to Edina to play sports, so what. It is my understnding their schools are always ranked in the top five in the state and in the top 100 in the entire midwest for education as well. It sounds like a win/win.

Is M Anderson the younger brother of J Anderson? If so it appears their dad played the same trump card as he did when they tried out for the WI Fire, You take them both or you don't get J!!! Amazing, I wonder how many other 98s would have loved the opportunity.

2012 Stars and Stripes Elite AAA Hockey Tournamnet
So who won the ship in each age group? I am having a hard time finding out. It sounded like a pretty good tournamnet. Thanks

Great response, I hope it continues. I wonder how many summer hockey teams will sign the pledge, or will the handcuffs come off some the players that needed handcuffing after winter hockey is over.

Come on people are you kidding me. These are 11 and 12 yr. olds. The majority of the individuals who are commenting on this are either the players themselves or their parents. It is amazing how egos get in the way of youth hockey.

98 Fire Tryout
It would be interesting to see how many players from WI tryout and how many of them get booted for MN players. I would be curious if the Fire was a MN program and had 90% WI players on the team if many of these same posters would be ok with that? These same people would be screaming about getting th...

In response to old goalie85, easily the vast majority if not all the kids on the teams you mentioned are residence of WI.

98 Fire Tryout
All of the proposed rule changes were posted at one time on the WAHA web site back in early May and this proposed change was clearly shown as one of them. Like I said, if I remember correctly, it was split amongst the committee members and because it did not have the required majority, I believe it ...

98 Fire Tryout
JSR is correct. There was a change submitted to the by-law committee requiring a majority of players playing on any team in WI be a legal WI residence. I don't believe it got a majority vote of the committee, however, I believe it was evenly divided, so their was a strong interest by many to have th...

ChiTown Shuffle Predictions
I see where the '99 Machine beat the '99 Blades 3-0 in the Championship game. way to go both teams for making the finals. The main difference I see bwteen the two teams is the Machine plays together as a team because they stay together as a whole team. Both the Blades and the Machine have talented k...

No Checking until Bantams
It all comes down to the coaches. It is the old 20/80 rule. 80% of the coaches out there in Pee Wees know how to coach the check. They tell their players how and when to give and take a check and how to play the body and seperate the opposing player from the puck. It is the other 20% who tell their ...

I didn't see how many Wisconsin players are on the Wisconsin Fire that recently competed in the Silver Stick. Is their a team roster from the tournament that would show this?

How much is the Fire including travel
1. Who cares how much the Fire costs. That is the parents business. 2. Why would Minnesota ever go to a Tier 1 program when all they have to do is set back and watch Minnesota kids go over to Wisconsin, try out and then come back to Minnesota and play all of their practices here. MN Hockey doesn't h...

Minnesota Tier 1 Hockey
If you are suggesting making four Minnesota teams why are you including the WISCONSIN Fire? This is a Wisconsin/WAHA program, or at least it is supposed to be, and as such let them play against the other legitimate WISCONSIN Tier 1 teams.

Wisconsi Fire
Deep Breath, I have checked and it is pretty clear that no one comes out from WI because they know that this is going to clearly be a MN Made run team and they do no want to drive to Edina and now St. Louis Park for all of the practices. Their chances of making this team is about as close to zero as...

Wisconsi Fire
No axe to grind, simple truth. The 99 Fire, all but for three token Wisconsin players, are from the MN Made-Machine with a few MN Made Tursbo players. All three coaches are Mn Made- Machine and the manager is a MN Made/ Machine employee. Last year's 98 team was the same way. It is my understanding t...
