How'd they look tonight against Providence Academy? Bianchi looked very good and strong on his skates. Mork is very solid and a force out there on D. They have some good young forwards that will add some good depth, which in the past couple of years they lacked. On D they need a couple of players t...

Any word on how the team looked in their scrimmages this weekend? This is all I have seen and heard. WBL 2 AHA 0 Bears playing well with wahlen and delaney. Good depth but surprised by the stars who without Mork, Bianchi and Haeg (sitting out of tryouts) played very well and many will be surprised ...

...Given the start play in the very weak Missota, they should do OK in the conference. They will be in the bottom half of the section and go out in the 1st round like the previous couple of years - IMO Tell us what you mean - "given the start play".... They will be much better than last year, wait ...

Love the Holy Angels khaki breezer covers, with the blue top. +1, although I prefer to call them "gold pants." That and the jersey that declares "Aha!" are almost enough to make me force my kid to be Catholic. You have to be Catholic, right?  :D You can become Catholic at any point as...

I had nothing better to do last night, so I took a look at the private schools. I have found some interesting facts about the effect of one class and two classes had on high school hockey. I took what I feel are the powers of the private hockey teams and add I also added Holy Family to the mix. It i...

The Stars should have a very strong year. They have some nice young players. They will have some sophs that played bantams as 9th graders, that should step in and play. They have a couple of goalies that will step in right away and help, which goaltending has been up in the air the past few years. T...

I am not a Edina fan, just someone that see's them play alot. Hornets are the favorite to win the section and one of the top 5 teams coming into the season to win state. This is from MN Hockey Hub article. Soon, Jablonski was gone. As the students looked up at his suite, chanting "All For Jabby," he was making his way down to the arena floor. Though STATE HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE OFFICIALS would not allow him onto the ice, Jablonski met up with his teammates in the locker...

MSHL needs to get a clue on what the sport of hockey means to the kids and people of the State of Hockey. If they said no to allowing Jabs on the ice then that just proves how heartless and clueless the MSHL Board/Staff is. Everyone in the building and everyone watching on TV was looking to seeing h...

Lakeville South still has to get past Lakeville North. Enough said. As for Kloos being Mr. Hockey, I quess the votes are in already and the kid from Duluth East #16 has only one thing to play for now his State Title.
