Breck should move up because; 1. Over the past 13 years they have had the exact same success as STA. Both have been to 6 tourney's, made the finals 4 times and won it all the 4 times that they've made the finals. 2. While they have almost 2/3 less boys in the upper school than STA has (533-199), the...

the school that prays the hardest, plays the hardest and will come out victorious. I dont see breck losing unless judd peterson pulls a ben hanowski and scores like 8 goals. Plus, Les Larson wont let this team lose this game. Breck probably hopes Peterson pulls a Hanowski and disapears just Hano di...

Roch Lourdes has no depth. 6-1 or worse. Hermantown will walk past them and TRF right into finals.[/quote TOTALLY AGREE THAT THEY SHOULD WALK INTO THE FINALS DUE TO THIS BEING A THREE TEAM TOURNEY THIS YEAR. THE REAL QUESTION IS CAN THEY ACTUALLY BEAT A GOOD TEAM WHEN THEY PLAY THEM? I'M GOING WITH...

While DM has a great player, Breck has 3 very potent lines. Unless the goaile has a shaky night like he did against Blake, the Mustangs win this one by a field goal or more.

Re: MR HOCKEY 2013

so I know its early but who do you think is an early favorite. My list in no order would be Nanne Cotta Lettieri Besse Moore Gross Labosky Dingman? any others in mind? First 3 won't be back. Uneducated guess. You can probably include Besse as well. To bad these kids (or often times their misguided ...

With Totino's pummeling of Breck, it appears TRF will become the first non Big 3 team to crack the top 3. The only question is, does Breck slide to 5 after Duluth Marshall's obliteration of Virginia last night? Or 6 or 7????[/quote Should still be 3 but the coach is going to have to get these guys ...

What's up with the close games for STA and Breck? Are they simply playing down to their opponents? If they don't get their act together one or both of them might slip up in sections and leave an easy path for Hermantown.

I've seen the Cadets on three occasions and there is no doubt they are a good team as reflected in one goal losses to 2 good and one very good (DE) AA teams. What I don't get though is why are you looking for comparisons on these two when the real question I think should be, how do Breck and Hermant...

Re: Ironic

It seems somewhat ironic that a Cadet fan would call out another school for padding their stats. Considering, the Cadets probably have well over double the amount of boys as Cathedral has boys and girls students and the Cadets choose to play in class A. If I am not mistaken the Cadets have way more...

Fair enough HSHW, you say "the majority simply blame those who are successful for being successful instead of discussing what can be done to help those not as successful be more successful, which is the real issue at heart" So I will take up the "real issue at heart". If we want to help those not a...

Duluth East should have no problem with St. Thomas tomorrow. The Minnetonka/Edina game will be a very good game to watch. After watching the East/Burnsville, Tonka/Hill, and two periods of the Edina/Blaine game, it seems as if it will be an East/Tonka finale but Edina will for sure make it close to...

AHA won the silver last year, so they get the gold. I too agree they should be in a different tournament, but they did not know what they would be losing when the schedule is made. With another blowout defeat last night, is it to late for Holy Angels to opt down to a bracket they can compete in? To bad Breck or Lakeville couldn't fill that spot in the Gold division instead. It would be much better hockey.
