Undermentioned note about this game: Joe Freemark is very good. For all that had never been able to see him play I hope you understand now why some of us on this forum rave about him. He was the best player on the ice last night. His ability to be a one man breakout reminds me of the days of Jordan ...

Just like East I think this can turn into a game Lakeville Can win. If they get it going up and down like they did with East anything is possible. A couple of there defensemen specifically Ocken and Freemark are very good at moving the puck up the ice in a rush. Also, Kloos gets way more room to man...

Not really surprised it's close. Surprised the score is so low, but East plays a game that lets South do what they are good at which is a fast paced up and down game

Eagan has no creativity. All these shots from the outside are not going in. At some point you have try some thing different.

If Dululth East doesn't win by 3 goals or more or even if this is a close game to the end, like a 1 or 2 goal game...Then DE will go down, in my book, as the "Most Disappointing Team" to date 8-2 DE You must really think highly of Armstrong then, or at least higher of them than Lakeville ...

To compare Kloos and Lakeville South to Cisar and Moose Lake is a bit extreme. I understand the point your making , but it’s as if your saying Kloos didn’t score on any top teams in the state. There are many who would argue that Eagan is as good as any team in the state. Kloos had 6 points in two ga...

I think what Rickyticky is getting at is that he is doubtful that Randolph would have put up the numbers Kloos did if they were to switch spots. It is a very bold statement to say that take away Toninato, and the rest of the greyhounds and Randolph still scores 70 points. Whereas you move Kloos to D...

How many times was Jake the sole focus of the other team. Funny you think nobody knows about Randolph or the entire first line, nor do you understand East has been the top dog 90% of the season , never falling below second place, nor do you realize East played a much tougher schedule than LS, in ga...

I've seen East play a few times and the speed is incredible. South will blink and they'll be down by 3 goals. East: 6 South: 1 East will pull the foot off the gas and rest up for the next game. Orty I don't think speed is where Duluth East's advantage is in this game. The clear and overwhelming adv...

Hard to decide who I want to win this game.

I'll go with Benilde riding the emotional power of Jabs and their current hot streak.

Benilde 4-1 in convincing fashion.

Duluth East will win this game, but I am very doubtful it will be a blow out. South has lost 1 game all year by more than 2 goals (Edina first game of the seasoon). In addition, of the top four seeds (having watched these two teams scrimmage) if your Lakeville South I think you aren't that angry abo...

Wish I could be at this game. Kloos is going to need to rise to the occasion. Another thing that might be the biggest key to this game is how Coach Weber uses Kloos. Will he wear him down early like he does sometimes or will he stick to the depth they have over North so that Kloos has legs in the t...

Re: STATE SEEDINGS AA

this just seems like one big mess. as of right now something like this. 1 Duluth East 2 Maple Grove 3 Eagan/BSM/Edina 4 Eagan/BSM/Edina Hill? if all the right teams come out only one cupcake team in lakeville south. what do you guys think. That's a cupcake team that has been beaten by more than 2 g...

I think a lot of this will come down to how the game is reffed. In the past, North has liked to get physical and wear down South on the fore check, but with the new emphasis on boarding and penalties of that sort South will likely spend quite a bit of time on the powerplay. They are clipping along a...

One small note also, If you look at the boxscore Matt Lembeck scored the 4th goal of the game. That was his first varsity goal (I think) in what might have been his first actual varsity playing time. It appears from just a boxscore that Weber was playing everyone the whole game. That being said havi...

Kloos was playing defense in the third period when he got those points. But yeah overall this is brutal. Kloos shouldn't have played a minute after the 9 goal first period.

It seems pretty obvious that the writer for the NHL website, who likely has never seen a Minnesota high school game, received ...

I agreed with what mulefarm said the other day that its hard to believe Kloos could be worn down at this point w/a 25 game season with little to no travel and not overly physical games. However, after watching last nights game I am leaning towards keepyourheadup, he doesn't seem to have the same ju...

Peterson is deserving of the award but more deserving than Kloos.... The award is not about future hockey success. Its about who is the best high school player in the state of Minnesota. It's hard to argue that Kloos has not been proving this since September. He led the elite league in scoring, and ...
