I wasn't there, I watched on TV, but to be honest, the A teams looked as good as or better than the AA teams. JMVHO. Not sure why either team would want to stay in A. Hermantown's program looks good longterm with youth teams playing AA. And why are so many people so concerned with attendance? Quit ...

SCC has not faced a team of Hermantown’s caliber since they won 5-4 at home, in OT, on the PP. That game was a long time ago. Since then, Herm has shut down Totino’s Roo, Cloquet’s Kuhlman and Hibbing’s Johnson. Hermantown will be more that ready do the same with SCC’s Poganski and company. SCC can...

Ya I don't get how SCC does not get the #1 seed. In this scenario it doesn't matter because Rogers/Princeton are pretty evenly matched teams. In other situations where there are 3 strong teams in a section the difference between the 1 and 2 seed is huge.

They are a pretty large school already that is growing. They would probably be forced to move up in a couple of years anyways.

Well watcher, here we go again. I believe, although I am biased, that EGF will be in the top 3 or 4 this year. All the feedback I am getting is that they are much more balanced this year. In fact, against SCC, they had 3 majors for 5 minutes each, and still managed to outshoot Cathedral by quite a ...

I have no idea what the actual numbers of transfers are in the Duluth area but I would suspect that there is at least some open enrollment in the Duluth schools.

Did people give Duluth Marshal a bad rep when they were dominant a couple years back?

They are considering a separate State Tournament for all Private Schools in 2014. Won't happen. They'll make all private schools play AA before that happens. 8) Not a bad idea. It would be an interesting concept to make all the private schools play AA. The competition level in A would be significan...

Pretty sad that you get enjoyment from a 16-17 year old kid not making it. How many daddy's got their heart broken this week when you found your son didnt make it? I bet the kid got over it in about 1-2 hours. Dad's? TBD. That is the most stupid comment. Of course the kids care if they make it or n...

What? Little Falls is a good class A program... Puck76 you just may get your wish having both these teams play on neutral ice, but to say the game would go to SCC is a misstatement, just ask Grand Rapids. I supporse if Hermantown would have played them on neutral ice, you could assume they would add some more cusion to their win? rediculous. You...

you go ahead and do that. I'll go ahead and do that as well..... I guess you never watch Jr Gold Hockey then.
