Re: When does voting end?
Don't quote me on it, but if I recall in year's past it was done prior to the state tournament.RoseauHockeyFan wrote:Does anyone know when voting ends for Mr. Hockey?

I thought it was small??? Same list on girls side would be twice as long? I don't follow girls hockey. Do they have two classes? If you combined the college commits from the single A tournament would it be as many as the girls have? Well the list above has a kid from Totino-Grace on it so it does l...

The biggest question mark about him, is how will he do if he's separated from Strand. The very few times he has been, haven't been pretty. I have a feeling it won't matter this time though. Anyone know if he's going straight there, or juniors ? Juniors. UND is a young team this year (4 seniors) and...

guessing you haven't seen him play a single game? Logging onto hockeydb doesn't make you an expert, stats don't tell the whole story, plus can kids ever just have some time to develop at a new level? Wasn't like Fasching lit the world on fire in Ann Arbor, but pretty sure he's worthy of his scholar...

Here's the story: http://www.duluthnewstribune.com/event/article/id/235441/group/Sports/ Forbort is doing "fine" at North Dakota? Granted, I don't watch a lot of Sioux hockey, but he sure had some less-than-fine moments in the WCHA Final Five. That aside, best of luck to Conner. He's been a solid p...

Disagree with comments on BCHL. Great league with a much more wide open style of play. My son played in NAHL and BCHL. BCHL is a slightly younger league - much like the USHL - but overall much better than the NAHL. Two second/third liners from his BCHL team left mid season and became first/second l...

from what im hearing trev olson will also likely go there, but will likely commit after a year of junior hockey Hmmm...don't most players normally commit first, with the understanding that they will go play a year (or two) of junior hockey? Lots of players go to junior hockey uncommitted. In fact, ...

Puck UUUUUU - Which of the Gophers should apologize for their behavior? I think what every human being can see is that the sioux had a few players completely act immature and unprofessional. This attitude reflects their leader. Will Blood be given a one game suspension? I doubt Blood will be given ...

Can anyone confirm walker leaving Edina, I find this one hard to believe. http://www.mnhockeyhub.com/news_article/show/114013?referrer_id=32760 Interesting decision. I generally think it is a bad choice to ruin your college eligibility. But to each their own. I think it's a bad decision on his part...

I watched the sioux bc game on sat, and I think they are way o..verrated.... ouch... slow and sloppy! gophs should be ranked higher http://www.centericereport.com/news_article/show/107776?referrer_id=4 A win and a tie vs. Maine over the weekend? Sorry, I'm not seeing the "trouble." UND is a quality...

Sounds like he will play for D3 Hamline.... has there ever been a 3rd round NHL pick to play D3? Is he playing juniors anywhere? Don't quote me on this, but there was a Wisconsin kid from Steven's Point, Travis Erstad, who pulled his verbal commitment from Wisconsin to play for D3 Stevens Point. An...

Wow! Great for him. I knew he had a monster year in the NAHL. His HS teammates have had varied success since they left Edina. Anders Lee is doing real well at Notre Dame, Marshall Everson's team at Harvard has struggled so much it is hard to give him a grade, Joe Gleason is at North Dakota playing ...

#7 Denver - 1 #2 UND - 6 FINAL I don't think there's any doubt who the best team in the country is after this thrashing. Gregoire makes that much of a difference. UND's "4th" line got Rowney and Rodwell back this weekend and it paid off. Dell has never looked better. Michigan is very good, but UND ...

Somebody had the fairy dust spread all over them in the finals. Tough loss for the Denver goalie, with three goals allowed and not one of them was legit. The last one was legit. 8) From the goalies perspective, the original shot never made it to him. It was deflected right to Frattin from the traff...

I wish all of the successful schools in A would move up. It's a pretty dull tournament on the whole. I'm sorry but I completely disagree with this rationale. So because a school is good at a certain sport they should move up? Classification is by enrollment for a reason. Should they change it so th...

Kyle Rau. He's a Gopher. You do realize only half of the last 10 Mr. Hockey's have gone to the Gophers right? And that is about right considering they would logically attract the top players in the state. That and the fact that UMD, BSU, MSU and SCSU all recruit a much larger share of non-Mi...

Given the fact this list is just North American players, I doubt Rau will climb the ladder come draft time. His size and the fact he did not choose the Jr's route will most certainly f actor in as well . And where he's committed to play college hockey will play a role. Always does. Depends on the t...
