Re: Private School Top 10 for 2018-19
Top Private Schools 1. St Thomas- some nice senior forwards 2. Benilde- really deep, lots of top young players, great D core and outstanding goaltending 3. CDH- top line will be really good 4. Hill Murray- young but talented 5. Blake- nice top line but depth lacking. Goalie can be really good but h...

Re: Holy Angels....
Minnscout how connected are you to the AHA team? I agree last year they had a senior who scored most of the goals, but he needed someone to feed him the puck and most of those assists were underclassmen. Not sure about how many legal transfers are on the team this year. But I have watched this team...

Re: Holy Angels....
I will weigh in on this. Yes you will see a turn-around of this team. The new coach has the players moving in the right direction and have a few good players. They were full of Freshman and Sophomores last year and should be much improved. I had heard that they got a couple of new players that shul...

Re: Private School Top 10 for 2018-19
No one on here ever gives Holy Family love, even though they are the only AA school with 20+ wins the last three seasons. Another 20+ win season this year and BSM won't win 18 yet people on here have them ranked higher than the fire.... You play Litchfield, Mound, Hutchinson, Delano and Waconia som...

Re: Private School Top 10 for 2018-19
Then I’m familiar with those. Impressive list of incoming transfers . Still say one or two years away from cracking top 15 and probably top 10. But would be happy to see you prove me wrong this year. There are more but no one will know who they are. You are right they will be young and it may take ...

Not sure you all know their roster?WestMetro wrote: ↑Wed Oct 17, 2018 9:31 am Agree OOTC
I have been thinking myself that the BSM might sneak into the lower top 20
MinnScout is quite optimistic though . I am definitely going to have to get over to SLP, Haven’t been over there since their big season a few years ago

Re: Private School Top 10 for 2018-19
Thanks OOTC MinnScout- I like BSM recruits a lot , but somewhat of a “leap of faith” 😀 to have them that high this season? It may take them until after Christmas but they should have good mix of younger kids and nice junior class. They will be 4 lines deep with not much drop off from 1st to 4th line.

Cont.. Eden Prairie- top line looked good with Jensen, didnt have couple 10th graders that will make make a difference (Batcheldor, L Mittlestadt). Should be competitive this year. Thoughts on teams after spending the better part of a day at Braemar: Lakeville South: Was playing with a split squad, so it's hard to judge too much, but it was pretty rough against East in the early morning session. Grand Rapids: They'll be better this season. I like Peart and they have some resp...
