Final:
Denfeld 5
Hibbing 1

shots -33-18 in favor of Denfeld.
Johnson didn't play tonight, out sick.

Hmm...Looks like it will most likely be Defeld and D. Marshall battling for the top in section 7A.

Hermantown, in my opinion, should absolutetly NOT opt up. Hermantown is everything small town hockey, and the single A hockey should be. I don't think anyone wants EVERY good team to leave single A, then think of how watered down the tournament becomes, it already has so little respect from clearly ...

Well that is all fine and dandy, and I don't think anyone is disputing the fact that the football state tournys in Texas are huge. However, a few things to consider: Population of Texas: 25.9 Million Population of Minnesota: 5.3 Million If we were to combine attendance to all the games in a day (th...

Re: Girls BB

Something must be done about Girls Baskeball! Maranatha Academy wins A, Providence Academy wins AA & DeLaSalle wins AAA. They are robbing all those communities of their rightful state championships. They must all be forced into AAAA! I can't stand the unfairness of it all. The only true champio...

In Texas, in the championship games, if you buy a ticket you can go to all the games on that day. So the attendances for each day were: 3A D1 Game 22,748 1A D1, 1A D2, and 2A D1 games 24,530 2A D2, 3A D2, and 4A D1 games 59,949 4A D2, 5A D1, and 5A D2 games 101,283 Here's the school participating a...

Way to go Marshall!!! It was a great game, closer than my liking, but fun to watch. Hibbing played much tighter than I thought they would and played a disciplined game, only 2 penalties I believe, which really helped them. See you at the X Marshall, hopefully you will represent section 7 well.

Range, You're right, you don't have the information. I saw this guy several times during the season, and on many of those occasions he was completely out of control. The coaches that are effective and loud do so as a calculated tool. This guy didn't use temper as a tool, temper controlled him. I ha...

I always love the arguement that if a kid has his head down, he should get drilled to teach him a lesson. My question is, "is it humanly possible in the game of hockey to never be vulnerable to a hard check? Is is possible to always be aware of everything around you when you are skating the pu...

Re: Another coach resigns

http://www.faribault.com/content/fhs-boys-hockey-coach-brad-ryan-resigns-0 Interesting article. Seems to be a trend with this coach. Also seems to be a trend that the intimidating coaches are being thinned out. They are being thinned out because kids and PARENTS are such whiners! I can not believe ...

ok would you be happier if I said Rogers was probably 2nd best next to your beloved H-town. Rogers was a damn good team that set the state record for most shutouts in a season, while giving up only 39 goals against. As far as you saying "my beloved Hermantown" you know nothing. I do not l...

This is just sad and pathetic. Try cheering for teams instead of cheering against programs like Benilde-St. Margaret's. Thats just childish. I've seen numerous kids go through that school and they are the classiest, most impressive kids you can imagine. What happened to their program with Jablonski...

I don't really see how you can argue that they are not the sentimental favorite after what happened to them this season. Who cares how their coach acts during a game its a game emotions are high. I don't watch any BSM games unless they're at the X, so I have no horse in this race when it comes to t...
