just putting this out, what does it say if team that goes 2-1 in the pool stage wins the final 8-1? weird decision to put tonka and wayzata in the same pool, arguably the two best teams in the state.

Tonka lacks in depth big time, and that is probably going to cost them at some point.

Goalies are solid, they can make the clutch saves when needed, as proven today in the final.

i would like to see him play against class AA teams. of course it would be a bit unfair for him because mankato west is not on the level of those teams, but it would give a better picture how good of a player he really is

tonka has easily the best goalies... in 10 games tonka has only 14 goals against.

well looking at the stats, he had 8 games and only 1+1 in u18 national league qualifications last season... he excelled in the first division, but the difference between national and 1. division is huge. comparing to erik haula, who plays for the U of M, haula had 43 points in 29 games in u18 nation...

Played against him , he wasnt that special.
I would say that he maybe has future in D1 or junior leagues.
