Anyone know where #7. Ryan Mulrenin, for Wayzata was last night? The freshman looked impressive over the holidays. Is he injured? Believe he didn't make the final section roster. As we have seen, O'Leary thrives on good defense and my guess is he felt there were kids with better upside in that depa...

The problem at the local levels is this: You cannot convince enough families that a really competitive .500-.600 season is better development for your skaters than a .900 season blowout after blowout. Leaders are not always bold enough to make the tough decision. No doubt. I've lost this battle wit...

Bottom line, Wayzata does poor job developing their talent and the smart ones leave for much better programs. Wouldn't say "Wayzata" as a whole... because the Bantams seem to be maximizing the talent pretty well over the past several seasons ... Just doesn't look like its equating at next...

Edina doesn't really have a single top line since they've split up Malmquist and Wait; they just have a 1A and a 1B. The Wait line, which is their "2nd" line, has scored more than Malmquist's line. Both are lethal, though given the Poelings' chemistry, I'd still probably take them as the ...

Typically for bigger associations the kids know ahead of bantam tryouts if they are going to make the team. That being said they usually don't try out then. However, as long as the player signs up for bantams does the tryouts they can still play bantams pending they tryout for HS and don't make it. ...

The STMA goalie can definitely steal a game. I believe last years 3rd place game was them vs Wayzata and it took Wayzata 4 periods to finally put one by him. Here is some food for thought. If you feel that your kid isn't getting enough ice time and he is on the highest level team for his age in youth hockey then why not ask your son if he would rather play down a level so he can have more playing time? I bet 9 out of 10 times that kid would look at you l...

This score is inaccurate. Cut was 5-4 Eden Prairie.
No the score "was" 4-2 Eden Prairie. Game was played at PIC on Wednesday and the 4th goal was an empty net goal. So you have the wrong teams/level
