Congrats to everyone selected. In my opinion the second team of forwards is better than the first. I would have put Spinner as my player of the year

Nice of them to spread the wealth with these picks. Nass is the best player I have seen this season in both the Elite League and MSHL. Snuggerud and Spinner have yet to get their team to the big show and cant win a big game. Slattery - good player but inconsistent. Cline - 36 points against nobody....

According to Jack Jablonski's twitter page, Naas scored his 100th career goal last week. Pretty impressive

We forget that this is an opportunity to move on and play in the Ivan Hlinka tournament in front of tons of scouts in August. Even for a kid that played in the WHL last season that is a great opportunity.

Jack is a great player, and if we want Minnesota's best to be represented in New York at National Camp, why wouldn't we allow him to do this?

I'm confused with these selects tryouts. it seems that the performance of these players during this tourney are somewhat secondary. Ive seen some players stats that didn't get picked opposed to those who did and in some cases it doesn't add up! Are these teams pretty much picked ahead of these tryo...

I went to watch on sunday and some pretty unusual things were going on. First, Johnny Austin (bsm) was playing forward for sections 2/6. Second, Kivihalme (burnsville) seemed to be battling an injury and missed shifts at times. Third, Spencer Naas (bsm) wasn't playing despite being on the roster. Th...

A couple things that surprised me: 1. I was shocked at how little offensive instincts/skills Eastview was able to display. 2. I couldn't believe how lazy Slattery was. I noticed this in a game earlier this year but I thought it was a fluke. That will have to change and if the state tournament won't ...

Re: Karson Kuhlman & Willie Brown so far

So far Brown has 4 votes and Kuhlman has 2 with nobody else more than one. A little surprising though both leaders are top notch players. Brown had a great coming out at the State Tourney with Hill's run and playing with Guentzel and Lavalle. Kuhlman made his international splash and UMD obviously ...

After seeing these numbers are there any predictions for Mr. Hockey 2013/2014? Thinking back to this post, realistically try to mix this with the possibilities of these players leaving. Connor Hurley will almost surely be gone, and Kuhlman and Sheehy have already played USHL games as well. Makes th...

Now that is funny. First, since some players pay as little as $500 to attend a private hockey power I'm sure the school could make some adjustments based on financial need. Second, "not about hockey" You my friend are the one that needs to do a little thinking before posting. Third, so yo...
