..

The only question mark Maple Grove will have next year is goaltending, and depth. They have two kids that can really put the puck in the net, but other than that there is not a whole lot of offense on that team. Hopefully a good coach is hired for that team, they have potential.

MG vs EP

Predictions for this one? This will be a game to watch. Maple Grove should be looking to make a statement and show that they belong at the state tournement. EP should be ready to play in this one.
Prediction: Maple Grove 5 eng
Eden Prarie 3

Hanowski

Ben Hanowski is going to be better than both of them. Ben has the size, speed, hands, and overall love for the game to go a long way. Watch out for this kid in the future.

Yes, the kid is the real deal. He is big, fairly fast, GREAT HANDS, the kid can hit, and to sum it up he can score.

State Tournament-Bantam "A"-Weak?

As I look through this Bantam "A" State Tournement, I see only two very strong teams going into it. Edina and Centenial. No one else impressed me. Roseau and Blaine both lost over 10-15 games all year, and have been a bit shaky throughout the season. Owatonna is going to get absolutely emb...

A little off

Perry had around 75-80. Persian had 80 something goals this year, according to some Orono people its around 130-140 points. He is one of the top forwards in the state. Skoog had about 110, thats on the money. Skoog and Persian were just missing the last piece on that line. They could have been unsto...

osseo-mg rivaly

This has to be one of the biggest rivalrys in the state, if not the biggest. 9th grade kids come decked out in there schools colors, do chants(and scream), plus the arenas are always PACKED for Bantam A games. Anyone at the Playoff game knows what I mean.

Maple Groves 1st line scored 85% of there goals until about the end of January. They did not play good hockey at the right time, and the others were. My bad, but none the less, it still was a little harsh to call upon the coaching in the situation that the dads were in. That was uncalled for.

Re: Hockeyguy90- I was actually looking for a comment on ...

What do you mean by on the bench and on the board? That has nothing to do with playing the game of hockey. That was probably the worst post I have ever seen. Put yourself in the spot of the board and the coaches in the beginining of the season. Maple Groves coach gets fired 1 week before tryouts, an...

1st Line

You could obviously tell from the stands that the 1st line for Maple Grove carried the play throughout the game. Unfortunately, they would get caught on long changes, and cause an oddman rush. The 3rd line for Maple Grove did its job tonight, going even I believe. The 2nd line also did its job, scor...

Game

Wow, Mike Fink is a phenom. At the end of the game when Maple Grove had its 2nd or 3rd line out I believe, he literally skated casually around the rink, like a stroll. Then bats a puck out of the air, and does it again!

As for Maple Grove, they had a select few that played extremely hard, sh...

?

A little harsh to drop Hopkins out of the rankings? I know for a fact they are much better than half of the top 10-20 teams. Maple Grove goes from 5 to 13..interesting. Maple Grove needs to get out of there little slump, and play like a top 4 team again. They have to talent to go a long way. Why is ...

The Osseo/Maple Grove games are a huge rivalry, and every game I see between these two teams are fun. These age levels seem to be friends off the ice, but complete enemies on the ice. I would say either Maple Grove or Osseo. I got a feeling Maple Grove will rebound well and possibly knock off Osseo. IF MG makes it to the backdoor game, and Osseo loses to Orono, the game to be at will be the Osseo/MG game.
