Re: Coldest Rinks in MN

The old rink in Cloquet, dirt floors, the kids walk on mats from the locker room to the rink. Good hard ice though

Can we start this thread over again so we don't have to read through all this crap about Lakeville?

Besides, I texted my Wisconsin friends and told them how lucky they were that they have all that Packer gear in case they run out. 😁

Could always use that gear as backup TP if you had too..

Re: CS Mid Term Rankings

Am a little puzzled that Richels passed up Biondi in the recent CS list . Blake dropped quite a bit and Carson really jumped. Not that he shouldn’t be somewhere in the low 100s with lots of potential. But point production pace not quite what would have expected so far. One could make case Hanson ha...

Re: Games Thursday 1/2/2020

Blaine 4 MG 1 FINAL. MG really missed Kyle K. tonight, especially his ability to score clutch goals☝️Shots 30 to 20 favoring MG, but they simply couldn’t finish their chances. An important bounce back win for the Bengals following a tepid showing in their Holiday tourney. The score was very differe...

I think that young man should sit out the rest of the season after that. Hopefully his guardians see that there is something going on that
needs attention sooner then later, bottom line is he's need some help so maybe some day he can play again.

Yes Kron played last night but like InThePipes said it wasn't even close, Andover could pretty much move the puck wherever they wanted too.
Kind of disappointing because I thought MG was going to be a good match up.

Re: Serious question around HS players and drugs/alcohol

minnstar thanks for fighting the good fight. Our AD has given up. Our coach drinks regularly on the bench. Parents have complained, but the AD always takes the coach's side. Families that bring this up, there player never sees the light of day on varsity again. Drinks alcohol on the bench? I think ...

I heard Richels will be heading to Waterloo in the next few weeks to workout with the team, so things are still up in the air

Our association pays for all the teams tourneys thanks to the people that play pull tabs, there was 1 tourney last year in Superior that the coach did not know about the separate gate fee and we all paid the $10 more a kid to cover it.
