Need 2 State Tickets, All AA Sessions

Going to be in town the weekend of the tournament and couldn't pass up a chance to go. Anyone have tickets to all sessions?

A lot of young fire power on both of these teams. I really hope Malmquist and the Poehlings come back next year.

It is less blurry now, but I'm still incredibly disappointed in KSTC and prep45. Last week I watched the 8A final on WDAZ's (Grand Forks TV station) website. It was like what KSTC does for the tournament where they just take the TV feed and put it online, and it was in perfect HD. Last Friday, prep4...

I still think singing the national american university jingle is the best response to any sort of anti private school chant. It can't be used too often, but when done right, I don't think I've ever seen a public school respond to it. There's just no comeback.

That's what I was thinking. I don't think I'll pay again tomorrow if they're still having issues.

Just had a quick chat with Pete Waggoner up here...the issue is apparently somewhere along the transmission of the feed from the X back to the studio. They're working on it. Thanks for the update, Karl. Hopefully they can get that fixed sooner rather than later, especially since they're charging pe...

Is the stream really blurry for anyone else or do I just have terrible internet?

[/quote]I doubt that.... Private schools typically bring the smallest fan bases. Community based schools often bring the whole community. Some of the lowest attended tourneys featured four of five private schools in the class A field. Just for example, if Duluth Marshall wins section 7A, they bring ...

While I'm not as familiar with the antics of the STA students, I have a hard time believing that people would be this upset if it was any other school. From what I've seen, they always seem to be the loudest and most engaged student section. Isn't that a good thing? Obviously being disrespectful isn...

So with all of the talk about a possible all-public tournament, I went back and looked to see how prevalent private schools actually are at the AA tournament. No sides here, I was just curious and figured I'd share my findings. Some observations: -Prior to 2000, no private school other than Hill-Mu...

Cloquet is the best for me, with Warroad as a close second. I agree about Edina, they're just so clean, and I definitely respect teams that keep their uniforms around for generations, makes it more meaningful to put it on. I've also really liked the blue Minnetonka jerseys that said "Skippers" diago...

If they ever update the top 100, I'll be interested to see where Grant Besse ends up. Kyle Rau (No. 11) is the only comparable player on the list as far as era goes, and I don't think Besse would be too far behind him. Thoughts?

I think a school like SCSU, UMD, or even UND signing a Twin Cities TV contract would do wonders for recruiting. Obviously, it's easier said than done, but I think going home or to a buddy's house and watching the Gopher games on Fridays and Saturdays after pee-wee and bantam practices is a big part ...

BSM Armstrong/Cooper, Orono, Edina (9), Wayzata (4), Hopkins, Minneapolis Park (2), Eden Prairie (2), and Cabridge-Isanti. The only real outlier is the last one. The rest paint a pretty solid picture of where BSM students come from, although I would've expected the Wayzata and Edina numbers to be f...
