True, but I'm all for great section finals as well... and usually there are a number of really close games at the tournament (and all of the games are closer overall), something that the AA tourney lacked this year, comparatively. It was an interesting year.

both have these have been addressed in the post about horton after the game...

MSHSL rules indicate that a player who is ejected cannot partake in a medal ceremony... which I think is legit.

word is that they wouldn't let jabs on the ice...

MSHL needs to get a clue on what the sport of hockey means to the kids and people of the State of Hockey. If they said no to allowing Jabs on the ice then that just proves how heartless and clueless the MSHL Board/Staff is. i dunno about heartless... maybe just clueless for upholding a rule too str...

being at AHA in 06 and 07 i don't have a lot of sympathy...

what's "not right" about being consistent with the rules in a case where this kid make a dumb mistake?

kind of a bummer that his coach sort of defended him - I can think of a number of coaches who probably wouldn't have been so dismissive. could be wrong i guess..

sure the missota has some stronger teams than it may have in the past... but that's been the case at various points in the last decade or so... and aha still beat the better teams of the conference by 7 or 8 goals on a routine basis. being out of minnesota and only looking at scores... it looks like...
