According to the poll so far there are more people that think Litchfield will win state than Blake.

Let's Go LITCHFIELD!!!!
we all want to see you have a lead for at least one of the six periods you'll be playing......

This is Blake's third straight state tournament appearance while no one on the SCC roster knows what its like to play in the state tournament. This played a factor against Blake in 2006 in an opening round loss to Marshall and will probably be a factor for SCC to overcome on Wednesday. Prediction: B...

I have seen both these teams play and Litchfield has absolutely no response to Warroad's top line with Ravndalen. Sorry Litchfield, even if Lucas Johnson has the game of his life you'll still lose by 3.

New teams

The NAHL is adding an Owatonna team as well as an Iowa team out of Mason City called the North Iowa Outlaws. Both teams are starting from scatch so it will definatly be a building process.

Blue Ice

Blue ice is a refreshing change. It is neat to see in rinks such as Virginia's. The color of the ice is for the spectator not the player and personally I think that is more fun to watch hockey on a color that is not as common even though some others may not.

Its kind of like the blue astrotu...

I think either Niskanen or Joey Miller. Miller is great at everything: football, track, baseball, hockey. this kid can do it all.

This one is simple, TJ Oshie, the kid is simply amazing. Isn't the best skater in the state but he makes up for it quite nicely with his unbelievable hands.

I don't know if you were implying that private schools are better than public schools but just as a note the best teams in both 5a and 2a are private schools.

It's gonna be a 7A-2A final!

I may be jumping the gun a little here, but as the state tournament creeps closer I keep thinking of which teams I would like to see most. Disagree with me if you will, but I believe that this may be the year where it will come down to some good old northern hockey in the finals, first time since '9...

My thoughts

In response to 2Ahockeyoldtimer,
I wasnt actually at the games but from what I've heard Marshall looked good and controlled the game. Giessler scoring a goal, I'll never forget that.
In the other game Mora shot themselves in the foot and could never get back into the game.

Well, the s...
