Would have liked to watch 00 Machine Orange vs 00 Euro American Red at the end of this past season. Unfortunatley, they didn't face each other. Euro was on course for their dream match-up in the Stars n Stripes this year but got beat by the 00 LSS 7-2 to lose out on advancing to the semifinal. In t...

I posted the other day and will post again as I know coach Thomas from when he was coaching in the youth at MV. He flat out told me he is just offering the opportunity to them and that they need to show up on November 11th and try to earn a spot just like others in the program. Coach Thomas told me...

Re: Time to Shutdown the Machine Program!

Championship Finals '99 MN Machine - 1 Bauer Selects - 4 '00 MN Machine - 0 Bauer Selects - 2 WOW, what has happened to the juggernaut! Not one first place trophy for the greatest program known- at least to Machine parents. There must be defection brewing in the ranks.... I smell a coup d'etat. '00...

Went to Velocity tourney out of curiosity, and I hate to say I was right, "But I was right!" Big EP goalie holds Wayzata to 7 or 8 goals in 3 on 3, and EP cruises 16-8. But they have great balance, skill/speed/size. Next game was good too, Maple Grove over Stillwater 21-16. Quick start by MG, and t...

The classlessness of the 2000 Machine Orange coaches was shining brightly tonight. I cannot understand how parents cannot see through the BS that Jungles and minions spew. These coaches should not be allowed anywhere near kids on a rink. THey are a joke. NO CLASS. Because? Seriously what happened? ...

I agree 100% that you and the players should enjoy their success. A lot of hard work goes in to it and wins are a great reward. I guess I was just looking at it from a long term development point of view. I don't mean to sell your success short. You are correct. You just read on these boards almost...

[ I know the Brick is a well run event that many team and kids look forward to every year but in my opinion it is WAAAAAAAYYYYY overblown. Sure the kids get to hang out with some NHLers and play in a huge mall, trade some pins . Have you been to the Brick Tournament? I didn't know there was pin tra...

Until the first year of bantam it's been common for a top MN summer AAA team to change at least 3-4 players per year. In 4 years half of a 2002 team will have turned over. With good management and coaching a team can evolve from middle of the AAA pack to top 2-3 during those 4 years. I don't really...

Re: Brick Schedule for the Blades

If the Blades win 2 out of that 6 game schedule it will be an accomplishment. That is one rough schedule. One win is most likely from what I can tell.

Unlike the Machine, the Blades have a future.. Why do most of the older Machine teams seem to fall apart? Will you still be on your knees in a few years? Still no comment on the 98's? The "older" Machine teams don't necessarily "fall apart" - they just move on. Happens every year - the top k...

98 Fire tryouts?

Does ANYONE know what is going on with the 98 Fire??!?!?! Tryouts are next week and the Fire website doesn't have any info listed except for the date, time, place and cost for the tryout. Would be nice to know if there was a coach or something in place so that people wouldn't have to waste $50 on a ...
