North Metro. They can beat anyone if #98 is allowed to dominate. North Metro? Please tell me they have AA or A team playing Bantams? I hope they win it all. Let them have some success..[/quote Is the goal to develop or win? Wayzata did the same thing with their B1 teams. They should have one more A...

Lakeville south ties wayzata navy 3 to 3. Wayzata scored the tying goal with about a minute left. Wayzata Blue is a very talented team. After watching them it's hard to believe that Wayzata Navy is that much better. If Navy is that much better Wayzata didn't do team placement right. They were bette...

It was the best. The Silver Stick winners were always on the front of "Let's play Hockey" .. Back then Let's play hockey had a T.V. show. They would do a whole segment on the tourny. In its hey day, this was the most prominent tournament. It allowed everyone to see who the best teams in t...

I can't tell you how many times I have heard this complaint in the last few weeks. Mostly from teams that are participating. Essentially teams that played last year and got 4-5 games are paying the same amount this year and getting 3. Needless to say those associations are left scratching their hea...

I'm confused by this thread...sounds like Bloomington changed their tournament format. So don't register....won't that send the message? If someone registered without verifying the format, shame on them. Why isn't another MN association running something like the old format...sounds like it was pop...

His angle is that he obviously thinks his 10 year old superstar is better than the others and should be rewarded for all the money he's spent "developing" him even if it's the at the expense of the other 10 year olds. BlueWhiteFan- Actually I have no problem if the coach teaches power pla...

My son's bantam team started a pp and pk unit about half way through last season. It seemed to throw everyone off and 5 on 5 play suffered. The team by far played their best hockey in the first half of season and in no way did it help. High School is right time to start with specialty units. Let me...

Our coach is rolling the line for power plays and penalty kills. In Squirts coach said wait until Peewee's for PP and PK. In Peewee's coach said wait until Bantams for PP and PK. In Bantams the coach told me that he doesn't see enough kids stepping up to play on the PP or PK. Truth is he may be righ...

Maybe not require 2 AA teams. But probably 2 A teams. And every AA association should be required to field an A level team What other districts require the association to declare AA or A for district play? In D6 they require each association to declare AA or A the so on. Our association offers a AA...

Just posted the results of the opening games played Wednesday. It can be read at: http://youthhockeyhub.com/burnsville-tourney-gets-a-black-wednesday-start/ Sounds like LVS PeeWee may need some more "move in's"? The move-ins go to Northern Educate. I believe they have their own high schoo...
