Yes. And his beloved Crusaders would no doubt make it to state 90% of the time. Good way to make sure the single A tourney has even more private school domination. Don't be sour your little falls team will never compete at state without a reincarnation of Ben hanowski. I hope to god Apollo knocks o...

You know what I am thinking already but I will take the bait. With cathedral in 6a it makes sense geographically (a true central mn section) and we can make sure little falls has adequate competition in the section year in and year out otherwise this is a historically weak section at state other th...

I have no clue how to fix section 3 as I don't pay much attention to it but I feel sorry for a 3a team facing STA at state. I just know I would like to see a section with any central mn team at state whether it's scc, Apollo, sartell, or Sauk rapids. Frankly I have grown quite tired of alexandria an...

With some minor section realignment class A would be an interesting state tourney but 2 sections always have the potential of really embarrassing class A (sections 3 and 6). There are some good teams in this top 10 though. What do you propose they change to make 3 and 6 better? You know what I am t...

I've been pretty high on Apollo all year. I've seen them play several times and they've competed with everyone (other than Cathedral). I think they are a good team with some young talent. I've said this to my buddies and have been laughed at...I'd be more surprised to see Cathedral in the state tou...

Highschoolhockeywatcher I appreciate your rankings. I personally don 't consider the private school all star teams when looking at the class A rankings. I am interested in the small town A schools. Northern guy doesn't get it. Keep ripping small town hockey.Small A schools are not going to be deep ...

Not saying top 15 yet, but St Cloud Apollo should be somewhere close to 15. HELL NO...not even close...you honestly think they are one of the top 15 let alone top 20 class A teams in the state? you are crazy Well call me crazy then but going off of scores and who theyve faced, their overall record ...

Little falls needs to be moved out of the top 15. Period. Why? I can see it, as their one win over a ranked team was in their first game of the season. Completely off seems a little low, though, as they kept Hermantown within 1 and have been fairly consistent this season. That being said, I'm alway...

Re: Class A Rankings 1-13-13
11. [8] Little Falls (11-3) The Fliers started off the season really well, but after getting upset in Princeton, they have put up some results that are quite questionable with the quality of goalie they have between the pipes. This will be an interesting rest of the season and they play Apollo this...

50 points is pretty impressive...but gotta go with northern guy. Their schedule is pretty soft! according to followthepuck.com he has 41 points and is tied...i am sure he is a good player...but he is not agreat player and should not even be mentioned in the same webpage as any mr. hockey finalist. ...

Very disappointing the gophers could not pick this kid up. Very talented, plays the game hard, and overall seems to have a very good head on his shoulders. Hopefully he has a very successful college career and beyond that. Has to be even more disappointing for St. Cloud State! SCSU's hockey program...

What non local people need to understand about Cathedral is that these are kids (95%) who grow up playing youth hockey in St. Cloud and who also attend private school from kindergarten until they reach Cathedral in 7th grade. All students are welcome to receive a premium education but athletes are n...
