Re: Class AA QF - Hill-Murray vs #1 Minnetonka
The players did that, Lechner just runs the bench. Gentry or White bear could have done the same.😉 Why you little #$^@(&*#!!! White bear had way better top lines so I think the coaching had to be the difference on line match ups penalty kill hills D coaching if you watched Hockey day you would ...

Re: Class AA QF - Hill-Murray vs #1 Minnetonka
I wouldn’t count Whipple as a tonka kid. Played 1 season as a btm after moving from East Coast before leaving for ssm for 14s and 15s. Hendrickson has a new team hat every couple hours. Started in Wayzata until peewees and has played for 3 programs since then. I wonder if Stewart wonders what could...

Re: 2023 Section 4AA Playoffs
Another 30 years and he'll pass Ikola in wins... if I had a 8th grade White Bear AA bantam i’d be looking at gentry academy Pay all that money to go to a school with 25 girls. More to life than hockey. Gentry is way more than hockey and is becoming one of the best schools in the state with a waitin...

Re: Class AA QF - Hill-Murray vs #1 Minnetonka
This is one of those years where I feel great about getting to State. There were people thinking East Ridge would beat Hill in the opening round of sections. Then Woodbury upset Stillwater, who I pegged to beat Hill, giving them an easier path to the finals. And I would have thought for sure WB wou...

Re: 2023 Section 4AA Playoffs
2 points 1. Hill does recruit, by the use of discounted tuition for student athletes. 2. Gentry is bringing this behavior to a new level. Especially by cheating Minnesota taxpayers by taking public funding as a charter school. Could you flesh out your point about Gentry? Charters by definition are ...

Re: 2023 Section 4AA Playoffs
Gentry will be removed from MSHSL long before they even get to 3 section finals. Want ice time during school day?, play tier 1 like SSM Didnt girls title team have a player saying hi to parents in California? Gentry hockey and lacrosse academy' will be tier 1 before long. Hockey parents are some of...

And the Hill-Murray youth team just happens to be comprised of the entire United States. Thank goodness those PS kids never transfer or open enroll elsewhere. Why I ...

Maybe there should be 4 or 5 classes ,and what about all the kids that go to big schools that didn't make their HS team. lets have all AA HS host A teams too so more kids can have a chance. most small schools kids make HS teams in 8th or 9th grade and get letter jackets that many good players at big...

It's there a video stream tonight? Does anyone know why there have been no online streaming this year? By my count I see 9 Class A players on the 16 54's. That is 17%, much closer to the % you are looking for. I agree that the system is biased towards the Twin Cities and AA but some years you are going to have less Class A players, it all goes in cycles. The 17 54's have 18 players from Class A, 33%...

Not sure why folks keep pissing their money away on this program, it has become quite a failed process for a talent rich state. There are better ways to spend your hard e...

Shaver who cares about Flake and Dover. Where were the East kids?? I'm sure the East nation will tell us what's up. East is deep with decent players, but not so much with top-end players. There are a couple others who were probably close, but didn't make it given the depth of quality players in 7A ...
