Bluehawk, you are whats wrong with girls hockey. Seriously, one of your arguments is about practice jerseys??? Instead of complaining, go out and make a difference. Don't wait and expect someone else to do something about it. Your complaint is about opportunity for the girls, yet your solution is to...

But a boy can't try out for a girls hockey team, that's my point. If that isn't allowed, a girl shouldn't be allowed to play boys hockey (unless my reasons above) and displace a boy to a lower level or not be able to play at all. I'm not saying a girl can't be every bit as good as a boy (because I k...

No inappropriate comment should be allowed and all should be investigated. That being said, why is it acceptable for girls to be allowed to chose to play on boys teams whenever they deem it is appropriate for themselves? Boys aren't allow to just freely sign up for the girls programs. The only reaso...

Minnesota High School Hockey (older threads)
Just wanted to invite everyone to read the two topics at the top of the Minnesota High School Hockey (older threads) section. I've never met Benik, but I am a fan of athletes from smaller schools who make it when everyone says they can't and they won't just because of where they play. I am glad ther...

Video replay does not always reflect accuracy and should not be used. The goalie for Edina started this mess but it was when the camera was panned to the middle of the ice and did not catch it. he did not get suspended. Also, one of Blaine's kids was suspended and he didn't touch a kid. Watch the vi...

Just like a majority of the AA games this year, really not that good. I saw more empty seats in the title game than I can ever remember. One thing that really irritated me about this game was DE player scored goal number 7 or so on a really nice pass and instead of celebrating with his teammates on ...

A lot of salty Luverne fans on here. boo hoo, you just had a good goalie, boo hoo, sending a weak sister, boo hoo. GIVE IT UP! you lost!!!!!!!! and we all been saying all year to shut your yappers on the msg board because it comes back to haunt you every time. Then we have people sending NU to state...

When are the Luverne kids going to learn to stop talking smack on here? Everytime they do it it comes back to bite them. Marshall, win the Morris game and you have a share of the SW title.... unless Luverne loses to Windom on the eagles ice. Previous projections still holding strong for seeding, not...

jv vs. jr gold 16
What is everyone's thoughts on allowing jv vs. jr gold 16? It seems like we play the same teams over and over and maybe this could spice it up a little.
What about having a state tournament that included jv and jr gold 16?

notTONIGHT, have to say projections spot on for right now. Some big games that could move some teams coming up. I also want to add that seeding only matters to a certain point. I think having to play in New Ulms back yard for section semi and final is more of an advantage than getting the 1 seed ove...

Most teams have 8-12 games left, so there is still a lot of time for things to happen, but here is how I see it as of right now. #1 and 2 are pretty locked. #3 - 6 are toss ups still. and #7 -9 no one really cares too much about. Some adapted floor hockey teams would have a chance against them. #1 -...
