I could see the Bears overlooking Stillwater and thinking about their game on Saturday against Hill. I think Stillwater is going to jump out early against the Bears and put a few in. The Bears will try to fight back, but fall short 4-3 Stillwater.

I'll take Hill Murray 5-2. Hill always dominates the first meeting of these two teams, but then when sections comes around it is always a nail biter. I think White Bear will beat hill when it comes to sections time, but they are too inconsistent as of now for them to win the first match up. Should b...

It will be 4-0 after the first period and end up 9-0 final. Wahlin is going to get shut down early and Delaney will probably get at least 3 penalties in the game. Edina is going to blow past WB's slow defenseman all game long. Also WBL's girls high school hockey team has a game at the same time at t...

Re: HM - WBL

So the only time WBL has won since 2005 was to go to STATE two years ago! You would think beating an all-star team to go to State would result in success at the State Tourney. But the Bears once again failed to get out of the first round. Let me guess, they faced another all-star team the...

White Bear beat CDH 5-4 in overtime. Neither team looked very good in my opinion. White Bear's defense looked just awful like usual. They don't know how to cover anyone in front of their net and they turn the puck over way to much. No one on CDH stood out to me as their best player. They just capita...

Re: final score

White Bear 3 Woodbury 3 OT Woodbury up 3 to 1 with 2 minutes remaining. White bear tied it up but couldn't seal the deal. IMO White bear is not worthy of their current ranking. Time will will prove that though. Not sure what you men about WB's current ranking, thier not ranked very high. They did p...

WBL 2 AHA 0 Bears playing well with wahlen and delaney. Good depth but surprised by the stars who without Mork, Bianchi and Haeg (sitting out of tryouts) played very well and many will be surprised with the depth at the forward position this year. D were alright, goalies very good. Who scored for t...

Losing Carney is a bummer. How the goalies looking for the Bears this year? That's a question mark for sure. Junior Michael St. Martin is the starting goalie over Senior Max Green so far, but my guess is that their play in the scrimmage today and in practice will determine who starts on Dec. 1st ag...

Blake Heinrich

Will Blake Heinrich be going anywhere next year or is he going to be returning for his senior year at Hill Murray? From watching him play he looks like a good hockey player with a lot of potential.

Re: 4AA

Congratulations to Coach Lechner and the Pioneers. 25th trip to State for HM. Coach Lechner took only 6 returning players, a goalie with almost no varsity experience and 12 JVers and has won conference and section titles. This makes 10 straight. Did they win the conference title last year? Last tim...

I thought going into this year, WBL's strength would be defense and goaltending. Boy was I wrong. 5 goals isn't enough to get by Johnson. With Johnson getting to within a goal with about a minute left, my wife looks at me and says Sager better take his timeout. I look at Sager on the bench, and he ...

Deja Vu? This game reminded me of last years consolation game at Mariucci. White Bear with a big lead going into the third and then getting a penalty and all the flood gates open up. The Bears thought this one was over to. Pretty embarrassing day for the Bears student section; chanting seasons over ...

Lenny Weiss was awesome. It was a great night for the Raiders.
Weiss did play a very good game. He is a really good goalie for how small he is. He made an INCREDIBLE save in overtime on Jack Morrisette.

Hastings 4 White Bear 3 OT. White Bear did not look good tonight. Schletty got pulled after the third goal. Zappa played well for the rest of the game, but let up the winning goal on a nice one-timer. This makes you wonder who is going to be the starting goalie in sections?

Cates did not look like a great goaltender tonight. Letting up 6 goals to a team that has been struggling to score this year.
