My question of the award would be why are there only two finalist. Why not five. Mr hockey has ten finalists. This way more goalies could get some recognition on having a great career. First off congrats to Dugas and Zevnik. And having a list of 5 would be a great idea..If they did have a top 5 lis...

Dugas layed another egg!
This award should go to Zevnik. Dugas looked terrible AGAIN this year in the Championship Game. A .82 save % last year against BSM in the state championship game and now a .81 save % against Edina. Goes to show you how good your teammates can make a goalie look until you play against a better team l...

Good sense of humor
He did make me laugh when he mentioned how a skate cut his throat and made fun of himself by mentioning how some Republicans probably wished the skate cut was all the way through his throat. Nice to see he has a sense of humor.

EGF has been working hard all year for this moment. What they have STA doesn't is something called WORK ETHIC. They will be physical and that is what will take STA out of the game. This will be the Championship Game of the tournament. No spoon feeding on this team. Tough coaches for EGF. Vey vocal o...

Another hit on Dingman
Are you kidding me? Another intentional hit on Dingman - good to see the refs are calling that. Clearly something that is coached.

Lovick's hit on Dingman
Centennial is known for crashing the net and trying to hurt the goalie. They did it all season long. Wayzata needs to protect Dingman or return the favor to Munson.

Goalie Patrick Munson, Centennial
Is that Cateye cage he's wearing HECC certified? I thought those were illegal in MN High School hockey. He might get a penalty for illegal equipment and the rules say he cant play with it if caught with illegal equipment.

Come to Anoka. Our numbers are down and having any extra kids will help with our ice payments. We just play for fun but would really appriciate some talent. and the fact that she hasn't been invited to any Selects tournaments or sought after to play on an upper level AAA squad is due to some misplac...

Curtis Frye is a big kid, 604. He fills the net well and he moves well. Neither goalie has impressive stats: .854 (Miska) and .786 (Frye). Look at Collin Olson (.903) and Jared Rutledge (.920) from the previous season. It's embarassing when you compare the stats which reflects poorly on the goalie i...

I enjoy reading all these comments. It's like listening to Howard Stern. Tiger33, go easy on Bo, he appears to be a bit unstable. His kid had a rough season. Thats all you have to say. You make this message board a joke. You dont give your own opinions, but make arguments with other people. Thats al...

I agree the goaltending has been an issue for this team; young and inexperienced. Cool paint jobs doesn't help stop the puck. They must not have anyone working with the goalies. If they do, they should look at other options. One interesting thing about the 17s is that they lift weights and workout o...
