Re: Detroit Lakes Scores 20 Goals - 90 Shots

Is the Hub lying to me about this game? Detroit Lakes beats Bagley/Fosston 20-0? 9-0 after the first period as well as 7 goals in the third period? 58 shots in the FIRST period? I don't know what's a more shocking statistic, the shots or the goals? This discussion comes up every year.... But 7 goal...

Re: YIKES...

I believe Northern Educated should be able to find financing to pay $13 million for a facility that cost $26 million to build. I think the building's actual market value and its projected cash flow will be more important than its original construction cost. Seriously. And I'd love to see the assump...

Re: STA - HM

Actually both STA & HM did get assigned to the CSC by the MSHSL. The old St. Paul Suburban was disbanded for the purpose of forcing out Hastings, Woodbury and Park. They were though to be too big and powerful for the remaining 5 schools (NSP, Tartan, Simley, Sibley & SSP). Those 5 wanted to add Ric...

Re: STA - HM

PS - I would love to see STA placed in 4AA with HM. It's already become a great rivalry. It would be even better if they met in Sections.
Yep
Or are you really saying that way only 1 of them can make it to state and you would never see a STA VS HM for a state championship. because th...

Does playing fewer games have a negative impact on teams? EGF is 10-0-1 right now, but have played [I'm assuming] 5 games against ND teams so they are 5-0-1 for the computer. Would they have a higher rating if those 5 wins were able to be factored in? They only count MSHSL games. The ND games do no...

Only lists seven, but I don't see a kid that I thought was on there. I bet No parents complain about ice time. Looks like it is going to be a tough road. Sounds like a great place to play goalie. It would be, except that they have a surplus of goalies and a shortage of skaters. I think they have at...

The forging of A or AA teams should have NOTHING to do with the high school they are associated with. If you are going to do it at all it should be based on association size and nothing else, sort of like high school but not directly associated with high school. You're totally correct. We've heard ...

Maybe he needs to ask his coach why. as the coaches do submit the players for consideration,
