Being a former ref, I go with ejected means ejected- you can celebrate with your team after the event but you do not participate. I hate zero tolerance rules but in this case you say he is a good kid who made one mistake. Next time, a pretty good kid who made a couple mistakes and is a bit rough som...

Private teams are here to stay do not rip on them at all. send your kid to play Juniors get the hell out of MSHSL league. I have no problem with private schools just let the rest of the teams recruit like they can. The restrictions on a public school is to there district a private shool can recruit...

Besse is a 1st class kid, great player, A student, great leader, works harder than anyone. All teams talk crap during the game if you don't like it go watch tennis. Hockey is played with great emotion and its part of the game. Game misconduct should have been 2 minute minor. You must have been watc...

Anyone at the X- why did Benilde stop shaking hands after the first two medals? Camera man made them stop. Same with Hill. I'm guessing it slows things down too much. . They don't need to shake hands three times they do it at the end of the game. Sportsmanship is one thing but you dont need to make...

Orty Sorry u either got cut or beat ny the Red Knights. Let the kids play and have fun. Benilde did nothing disrespectful and played the game the way it should be played with speed and skill. HM running around with their heads cut off trying to kill people doesn't work when you play a team with gre...

Thanks
I was worried that there was a lack of sportsmanship. It is only that TV takes precedence

1- Had the refs been better earlier, there would not have been so many third period penalties

2-HM should start declining penalties

3- Grant Beese-- next Gretzke?

4- Hill too methodical and cutesy SHOOT already

5-Congrats BSM- they were the better team

Re: Class A enrollment cap?

What is the enrollment cap for Class A? St. Thomas Academy has more students than Benilde does, and they are all male? Should not the effective enrollment for all male schools be doubled? Or did Benilde opt-up at some point? Help me make some sense of this. Benile opts up. Not sure the exact A cap ...

while I was at 'Tonka they had a starting goalie from Mound, a forward from Finland, a D-man from Canada and another forward from Osseo. Before that, I know they had 2 starting goalies from EP. but public schools don't recruit  You're not listening though. It's okay because they play AA ...

Sorry I have to jump in on this one... He has already given them an excuse to loose. If Hermantown looses (and that is no sure thing) it is because the playing field wasn't level. He has pretty much said that they would beat ANY class A public school today and only a private team with an unfair adv...

Be embarrassed and mad about what? Bruce is one of the most successful and well liked coaches in the state. Maybe more coaches should be like him. He loves the kids and they love him and he has fun with the the kids and he wants them to have fun. Thats why he's retired from teaching and still coach...
