Two teams I feel will make it to the State Tourney for Bantam "A" are

Alexandria- Big, Physical, Good goalie, Should go undefeated in district play.

Mankato- Good size, Excellant goalie. Should also have an easy time with district play.

Looking at the web site it is taking kids with birthdays from 7/99 to 6/00. That would make the kids first year Bantams. What about the late 98's and early 99's?

A good book for you to get is "Goalies are not targets" You can google that also and go to their website. It is an excellent book on goaltending from everything from training to equipment. The most important thing for your goalie is to learn how to SKATE!!!!

Does anyone know if the teams at go to Regions are the same for both AA & A teams? Minnesota hockey has the Region breakdown For AA but nothing for A. If they are, there are some interesting seedings as #4 team from D6 goes to the South region and the #1 thru 3 go to the East.
