Still can't imagine who would get replaced in North's top 3 lines by a (promised) move-in unless that player was the caliber of a Johnson, Poehling, Enebak. It doesn't sound like that from opinions here and there are no new standouts at the preseason clinics. South will struggle against solid compe...

It's America. It fills a need. I just wish i had the testicular fortitude to do it first. Yes, it feels a need. Ask yourself this: Is it a healthy need, or a narcissistic need? Who are you or I to make that decision? The consumer public decides if they want to make it a need in their lives, they cl...

Nope, that was the roster for the 2015 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament back in August over in Europe. All but 2 players were 1997's. The under-18 National team that will be playing in Grand Forks are all 1998's, and the roster can be found: http://u18mensworlds.usahockey.com/team-usa-roster Unfortu...

No doubt. They all deliver a solid education, but the UofM has 100's of fortune 500 companies recruiting consistently, whereas the other schools.... not so much. Let's assume a full ride has been offered at each of the schools. If my son is picking a school based on hockey alone, he can choose any ...

Nah. He's gone. Has to be. Nothing to prove here. He is one of the few that need to move on.

I'm guessing he means to represent Luverne at the next level.

Goaltender Keegan Karki from St. Cloud Cathedral has excepted his invite according to my sources. Heard the same, great goalie. Hard worker. Needs great D in front of him as he tends to be very aggresive. Shoudn't be an issue here. Good content on the above post, accept the speling could have bean ...

Ignoring the original post ... Serious question here, where does the 'bored' feel that a competitive JV level team would land in this tourney? This goes under the assumption that the JV could beat the JGA in head-to-head. Would a Tonka / Wayzata / Edina JV team get worn down through a tourney like t...

Re: next year

Section Finals predictions for 2017 1AA - Farmington vs. Lakeville South agree, not much else. Farmington's last chance in a while. 2AA - Ep vs. Tonka I'll take Prior Lake over EP, like the Tonka pick for the next 3 yrs or so. This should be a fun top 3-4 here. 3AA - STA vs. Rosemount Jefferson over...

Just to add some context, the owners of Gradient (the parent and/or sponsor of Gentry Academy) are Chuck and Tami Lucius. I'm not sure where they "reside" now, but they definitely lived in North Oaks at one point. They have some talented boys in 7th and 6th grade, both of whom just finish...
