I was referring to the AA race and AA players not catching Gleason since that’s the title of the thread. Biondi plays in Class A and plays a class A schedule.

Nobody is catching Gleason at this point. While Hermantown has played some strong AA teams their schedule still has a pretty strong A flavor to it so probably not a perfect translation.

Any formula based system that uses goal differential in its equation is flawed. Lopsided wins over weak teams get overvalued and there’s no way to compensate for that no matter what you try to do to tweak the formula. There are a few examples of that this season like there usually is.

You guys can talk as long as you want about EGF having access to a metro area and how kids could come over from Grand Forks. The reality is they don’t. Move along. There’s nothing to see here.

To be fair, Green and Whites take on the Roseau Moorhead game was very reasonable. It was a different Roseau fan who I think you are addressing. And Moorhead outshot Roseau pretty comfortably in the recent game. Both of them actually. It was STMA that Roseau outshot heavily and lost to.

I like the relegation concept.....but 1 title moves you up for 4 years is too harsh. I could see two titles in 4 years moves you up for two or three. But I think a system requiring a bit more sustained success than 1 season would be better.

I get the overall body of work thing, but as far as section play, I think STMA will get some first place votes, assuming they win out. Didn’t see the original game but went and glanced at the stream. The first Spud goal was scored on a centering pass from behind the net to a Moorhead player standing all alone 15 feet out between the circles. What was lucky about that?
