Another slight?

Lexi Baker. 938% 122 of 130, I believe the previous record for saves in a 3 game tournament was 109 or 110.

Deserves recognition in my opinion.

Partly due to the system only rewarding winning goalies on teams "that matter". Partly because our kids don't play as many games and therefore don't develop as quickly as the eastern or Canadian kids. They're signing them at 15 or 16 years old. Most mn kids aren't even starting varsity yet so unless...

Really who cares. We are not living in the 70's anymore. Kid's move that's the world we live in. If you look at Blake, Breck, and SPU's rosters, include Hill and Cretin even BSM there are very few parents that can't afford to send their kids to that school. Marshall I can't comment on but I am sure ...

I guess where I get lost is because I can't math too good. I don't understand why the adjusted percentages are so low. For it to make sense to me it would need to adjust each goalie's % up or down based on the strength of her own team and the opposition. Goldstein at Edina would have to come down si...

Bad information in, bad information out. First of all look up something called Adjusted SV%. Not all tools such as LSQ should be applied to all circumstances. We can all agree that SOS is very important to rankings as a whole. But to apply this style when deciphering rankings/qualities for goalies ...

7AA state record the last 2 years, 0-4.

Congratulations to the Rangers for winning the softest section in the state.

Maybe next year.

Re: 2016-17 Undefeated and Winless Teams

One thing, the MSHSL cannot make Blake move up... Also, be sure, if Blake chooses to move up, Breck most definitely will not. If they can move 2A schools down to 1A I would assume they can move them the other way, too. They have no interest in making that happen, though, for sure. I don't understan...

Re: 2016-17 Undefeated and Winless Teams

Chip off Duluth and Brainerd from the list, and get rid of the asterisk for Blake who should be playing AA hockey anyhow Agreed. Here's a simple solution for MSHSL. If any class A team plays more than 20% of it's non conference games against AA opponents, they must participate in AA sections. This ...
