Would that include Hill-Murray and Gentry?
Privates do not have to abide by the same rules and public schools when it comes to this situation. Not sure how that works with Gentry as a Charter School though?

WOM and Hunter win. My inside source says all schools will be shut down in a week or two. Walz will also shut down bars and restaurants. Your local YMCA and gyms closed also. Sad deal Do you mind divulging your source? At least what industry/agency he/she works in? Will ice arenas be shut down? by ...

Spar- figuring by time March rolls around , Mshsl will cave and allow a state trny , albeit with limited or no fans . Or else Minn Hockey will sponser a “State Trny” of same 8 teams after Mshsl sections Not as easy as it sounds though Westy. A few things to keep in mind if (when) the MSHSL says no ...

The "Bridge Season" is going forward. Obviously it will be mainly metro schools as most outstate schools are smaller and kids play multiple sports.

With the USHL/NAHL drafts now completed, it seems to be another decent year for MNHS goalies moving on to juniors. Too early to tell on how it'll all shake out, but by my count we have the following (apologies if I missed any): Pinney - tendered to St Cloud of NAHL Hodges - drafted by Austin in NAH...

A/C's bantams had 3 good 9th grade D, 2 should play varsity for sure this year. Their best two-way player left for BSM which is a bummer but they had another 9th grade F that is big and should see varsity minutes this season. The 8th grade line has two kids that will tryout for varsity this year, i...

Going to be a very deep Section Delano- Looks to be the favorite they bring back Brown, Paulson, Keranen and more. Re: Minnesota Hockey Taking Over?

So what would private schools do if MH takes over and creates a U-19 level...would the privates form their own team or would kids go back to their associations that they came from? How would it affect eligibility if you go back to association? My understanding is that there would be significant com...

How about if we a school is in online mode? Or hybrids? How will that effect season games? Ok hockey dads no school for Johnny but go ahead and play your games? Re: Minnesota Hockey Taking Over?

Depends. When school is cancelled due to weather do they have extra acticities? If your kid stays home from school do you let them participate If it’s not safe to be in a classroom with others why is it safe to have teams together? So when schools all go hybrid or online by Christmas do extra activ...

Re: Covid-19 has stopped training at MAP North

Four staff were named at MAP North (HIPA?) at the Super Rink. Oofda, I wasn't aware of (4) positives. I wonder if that (4) is also including the (2) that I know of at West since they sometimes go back and forth? I am guessing it is a HIPAA issue and we may never know all of the names. My kid knows ...

It is also believed that the (2) trainers in question contracted the virus outside of the MAP West location.

Again, we have not heard of any of the kids contracting it at the West campus...I don't know about North campus though.

Let’s come at it this way. Which team trains at these arenas? And then we can talk about how many schools are going to be effected by hockey dads decision. There isn't any one team that trains at MAP....it is a few kinds from every association in the north and west metro I would assume. Some associ...

Re: Covid-19 has stopped training at MAP North

Multiple coaches and athletes now have confirmed cases. This has caused a temporary pause of training at the Super Rink in Blaine. This happened with all cleaning and temp. protocols in place. We haven’t even made it to the first day of Fall sports starting, school opening on a PT basis (weeks away...
