Not on the list, but apparently Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato has a new head coach!

Per MSHSL website - Two Harbors added.
Two Harbors doesn't have its own program. It Co-ops with Silver Bay to form North Shore, which is already on the list.

Tartan was one of the smallest AA schools in the last cycle, about 100 students above the cutoff. Looking at the schools below them and knowing Northfield moved up it is entirely possible Tartan is in class A by enrollment.
They elected to move down.

Re: 2019-2021 Section Assignments

There is a loop hole for teams to move to A. If you have over 50% reduced lunch program in you school - you can move down. That is what Armstrong, Tartan, NSP, Kennedy all can do and what they took advantage of.

Re: 2019-2021 Section Assignments

Tartan and North St. Paul are both in 4A. They also have St. Agnes is 4A, I don’t think St. Agnes has hockey in nearly 30 years. St. Agnes is with SPA co-op Is that new? I thought Agnes was previously with Minnehaha Academy, and they had to petition down to single A based on cooperative enrollment....

Re: Class A 2019-2020

Aren't most of the Denfeld kids a Duluth Marshall? Not most but there are a few. I know of one 9th Grader and two 8th Graders from this year's Bantam group that go to Marshall. There may be a couple more, I'm sure one of the Denfeld fans on here can confirm. Denfeld has some top end talent for sure...

Re: Class A 2019-2020

The 2 forwards returning were Denfelds leading scorers. Denfeld loses #3 & #4 leading scorers but gain at least 4 forwards coming up that can play and score. The forwards coming up are more complete that play far better both ways in forechecking and backchecking than what they lose. Lose a very goo...

Hearing from a good upper end source that you WILL see PINO in a FIRE uniform next season. =D> Let summer fun begin! Re: 2019-20 Preseason SWEET SIXTEEN

Thanks for the input on Gentry. I did not realize the school had been sold. I wondered what the exit plan or endgame was. For those saying this kid or that kid is going to the NTDP, we'll see. They don't take everybody. One of the things they seem to assess is whether a kid will "fit" meaning be ok...

Bump everyone down if their top players go the N...

Re: All-Metro Teams

Just remember the Strib is very lazy when it comes to high school hockey. In the past their writers just look at who is committed to the Gophers and start the metro team based on that list. Not how it works. They have 10 or so metro area head coaches all vote on the All-Metro teams after every coac...
