hard to look at it as B1 or A. in some associations it means the same thing. The team is made up of Players chosen during tryouts between roughly 16 - 30. some associations choose to label as A some label as B1. Through this classification we have seen A teams beat some AA teams. So obviously some B...

Always sad when one or two parents cause issues like this. Two wrongs don't make a right, however, if the girls were on time, I assume none of this would be affecting this team right now. The team has a quality, experienced coaching staff. lets let them handle the issue without social meeting adding...

I have never reviewed the MSHSL rule book. I would think that would be someone with more skin in the game then me. As a parent my job is to be a fan and support my kids. All I'm saying is I've seen exchange student come to MN schools and play active roles on team and individual sports.

This is not unique. Exchange students have helped many other sports as well. Especially soccer. also seen it with Gymnastics at the State level. Its all ok, Its a kids game, no harm done. Great experience for the kids.

Its a whole new team, I would guess over 3/4 the girls moved up to another level (U14? or High school) Same could be said for Chisago High School Boys - 2 years ago had a showing at the State and last year struggled...

I know of at least 3, prior assistant coaches, in our program that have not pursued their level 4 certification. They have been assistants for many years, with multiple kids, and now since they have to renew at a level 4 have decided not to continue. This is tough on the associations as they now hav...

There is no question about this one - it should have been a penalty. Take all things aside. That type of play is a penalty for Crosschecking. and if you listen to the most recent guidelines from the Official seminars it could have had a 10 min misconduct as its a defenseless play to the back of an o...

We see this more and more, especially since the number of Junior teams have multiplied considerably. More and more kids are able to experience the junior seen without leaving home. I am not stating its right or wrong to jump to juniors but its an option now. I would guess the top players on just abo...

I know nothing about either team, I have never watched either team play. I will say I was surprised by the outcome but only due to the hype the Luverne fans have on this forum. I am guessing it was a exciting game to watch? very emotional. Congrats to Luverne for a successful season. Its nice to see...

correct me if I am wrong. the way I am seeing the numbers approx. 70% of ALL AA Peewee teams make it to regions ?

I would think the number would be reduced as the number of overall teams reduces. maybe i'm wrong, this thread seems to apply almost every team makes it?

ARe there a lot of parents with the same thoughts? If so take the proper steps. Forum boards may not be the best way to get the results your looking for. If only a couple feel the way you just tell your player to keep working hard. It will payoff someday. The coach is the guy in charge, like it or n...

I still think Duluth has an argument over rapids to be the #2 seed. even though Rapids beat East I still see Duluth with a slightly tougher schedule.

I guess I see it like this.

1) Elk River
2) Duluth
3) Rapids
4) STMA
5) Cloquet
6) Andover
7) F-Lake
8) St Francis
9) Cambridge

By and large section 7AA is down this year. Yes Elk River has a very dominate couple of players, but lack goaltending. Give up to many soft goals. East has history, but very down this year. Rapids gets talk from their faithful however if we're talking them as a top team their below 500. STMA doesn't...
