The thing that is going to hurt 6 is no juniors. They had a very deep team in 16 and 17's but now the skill, along with goaltending, is being spread out between the 18's and Great 8.

Would love to see the Rams, Jags and Trojans at the X in 2014. However, I think we'll only see one of those three at most.

Re: Wayzata 2013-2014

I've heard some rumors about Rem Pitlick returning to the wayzata squad. If that holds true... Are they the dominant favorite next year? No team will ever be dominate in 6AA. Really disappointed they didn't spread around the talent during the realignments. Any changes in 6AA for next year? Accordin...

Re: The Offseason

Now that the new champions are crowned, and sections are released we can spin our wheels a little before the summer months. Any rumors, innuendos, and prognostications are welcome. Anyone heard the rumblings that Driscoll from EV might be transferring? I have heard those rumors, don't know of any t...

Re: Dugas layed another egg!

This award should go to Zevnik. Dugas looked terrible AGAIN this year in the Championship Game. A .82 save % last year against BSM in the state championship game and now a .81 save % against Edina. Goes to show you how good your teammates can make a goalie look until you play against a better team ...

From what I have heard, EP is on the way out of section 6. If that is the case, Wayzata should be the favorite to come of that section. EP would go to 2, where they could be very competitive as I believe their only loss will be Warner, and possibly goaltender Kielly.

Is there a game limit that you can play in the USHL, in order to come back and play in the MSHSL the following season?

Don't know how the MSHSL could look at some of these section final games, and not have a major section realignment.

Recruiting is just a part of a game now. The rules of transfering are never strictly enforced, and therefor we have to accept the fact that there will be move ins. I can name at least one player that transferred to each of the top 5 seeds in this section.

I think that this game will come down to depth, which I would give Eden Prairie the upper hand in. They have been getting scoring from all their lines, along with great shutdown defense and goaltending. I think Besse and company (his line) will need to produce at least 3 to win this game. I'll take ...

I think the Jags are too deep for AHA. 4-2 Jags This was very entertaining game, aside from the who used to play for who prelude....In the end, Jags depth up front was just too much for AHA. Jags 3rd line ate AHA alive scoring 4 goals. Forget debate over #2 and #15 for AHA, Jags #12 was sensational...

I'd take a 3-1 win against Edina over 15 points between 2 players against Litchfield any day. EP 4-2. I'm going to take hf in this one . Hf lost 7-5 (6-5 ) + empty net goal and ep lost 3-2 both bsm goalies were the same I believe . Hf 5 ep 3 (empty net goal at the end ) Not really seeing the logic ...

In my opinion, this will be the best quarter-final game of the year. I see this game determining the 6AA champion. If EP wins, I think they head to the X. If Holy Family pulls it off, I see BSM heading back for 2 straight.

What was the story behind Edina's 6 or 7 penalties? Were they frustrated or just unlucky? Did EP have 3-4 penalties? and was that a factor in the games outcome? Eden Prairie had 7 to Edina's 4. Seemed like more of frustration to me. Biggest factors was the power play, and Gerdes making one or two m...
