The thing that is going to hurt 6 is no juniors. They had a very deep team in 16 and 17's but now the skill, along with goaltending, is being spread out between the 18's and Great 8.

From what I have heard, EP is on the way out of section 6. If that is the case, Wayzata should be the favorite to come of that section. EP would go to 2, where they could be very competitive as I believe their only loss will be Warner, and possibly goaltender Kielly.

Is there a game limit that you can play in the USHL, in order to come back and play in the MSHSL the following season?

Don't know how the MSHSL could look at some of these section final games, and not have a major section realignment.

In my opinion, the section final was played at 3:30 at BIG on Saturday. I'll take BSM 5-2.

Recruiting is just a part of a game now. The rules of transfering are never strictly enforced, and therefor we have to accept the fact that there will be move ins. I can name at least one player that transferred to each of the top 5 seeds in this section.

I think this will be the most intriguing match up of the weekend and cannot wait to see how it will go. In my opinion, this will be the best quarter-final game of the year. I see this game determining the 6AA champion. If EP wins, I think they head to the X. If Holy Family pulls it off, I see BSM heading back for 2 straight.

I'm going to take Andover over the Elks, as I believe they are just the better team despite their two head-to-head losses.
