That's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks. I welcome any other input. The reason I ask these questions is because I am always searching for ideas and philosophies that make programs successful. Looking at the Fargo/Moorhead area, you have an area that is kind of isolated out west, with only a r...

What happens if you attend a school that doesn't have a sport you want to participate in and isn't co-oped with another school for that sport? If it was that important, wouldn't you open enroll or move to a community that has the sport? We lived the exact situation mentioned above. I contacted the ...

Of the 8 teams in the class A tournament, 7 come from either the 7 county metro area or from population centers of at least 70,000. The 8th is of course Luverne, population 4700. Wait a minute here. What is the distance to Sioux Falls and what is the population of SF? SF pop 164676. Is Card country...

Depends on how you define things Eden Prairie and Wayzata are both huge teams so they put up some big checks just by the sheer size, Eden Prairie is probably more noticeable since they are a faster team along with their size. Such as Johannes , Sullivan and Blackowiac On the other hand, if you go b...

Who Are the Most Physical Teams A or AA at the X? (Bangers)

I am curious to hear who you all think are the real physical mean and nasty teams at the Excel this year. I thought that St. Cloud Cathedral played some very physical hard hitting hockey this season when I saw them. I did see the Spuds, Hill Murray and Roseau play this season but I would only consid...

He is a recruit from Fergus Falls. Yes......he was recruited from 60 miles away........ In 8th grade. If Holy Family, Lakeville North and Minnetonka can build all star teams.......us northern teams should get a new guy every ten years or so don't you think? I will say the Otters sure did miss # 6 i...

EGF 5-0.

I have to agree here with an EGF win. Heck the Otters put a 3-0
win on the Warriors in Warroad earlier in the year however ''tis the season for upsets" hence
the Cake Eaters were sent home with no desert last evening.

The seeds are in for 6A: 1. SCC 2. Alexandria 3. Sartell 4. Little Falls 5. Fergus Falls 6. River Lakes 7. Wadena 8. Prairie Centre 9. Cathedral Stands Alone In 6A

I would think SCC is a definite #1 Beat Fergus 4-0 Beat Little Falls 5-1 Beat Sartell 7-2 Tied Alex 3-3 Only 3 losses all year are to the #1-3 state ranked teams. Even with the #1 seed though, this section playoff is going to be a dog fight all the way around. In a one and done situation...all bets...

I didn't see that Fergus had lost to them TWICE. I thought their Alex win would carry them over ONE loss to LF. But being as they lost twice to them, then yes I would say they're at the 5 then. Not that it really matters, they are probably destined to face each other anyways. agreed. but I still do...

Far as I can see making St. Cloud camp as a 15 is your best shot at learning. The rest is a showcase. I was just thinking why they didn't run each level like they do the 15s. Gives more kids and more programs a chance to develop kids at a higher level. Mite, you are right. The same complaints are h...
