Re: Eden Prairie …

O Town. I did not mean to disrespect Jackson Blake’s performance today vs Gentry Academy. That Blake kid can play and I was a huge fan of his dad in a Sioux uniform. Maybe Jackson will join the 3 Super Sophs from EP again the future. I am hoping for an EP reunion party and not one in Plymouth, MI. G...

Re: Eden Prairie …

Holt, Batchelder, and the Middlestats not enough against a solid Edina squad. These EP young guns gained valuable experience and displayed their great potential. I just hope they stick around and resist the lure of Ann Arbor. Coach Smith can develop these players much like he did for Casey. Go Eagles!

Re: How many Titles would Eden Prairie have with Mike Randolph in the last 20 years?

I am not smart enough to go 20 years back, but I wonder how Randolph(or anyone) would have helped EP win a title in ‘16-‘17 with Casey Middlestat and a bunch of 1998 seniors. EP got a slim win, I think, over Holy Family in sections, then lost to Grand Rapids. Grand Rapids was good, but maybe not as ...

Re: Eden Prairie …

EP should be fine without Jensen. They still got not 1 but 2 Middlestats and Holt and Batchelder.
Even if Edina rises to the occasion in their own tourney, this EP core gains experience for later I the season. Should be a fun game!!

Must be a few elephant issues not being addressed at EP. Being a father and coach must be difficult. I feel sorry for Jensen.

Gophers looked good, but got outplayed by number 11 ranked Penn State. Just wondering why there were all the open seats? is interest in Men's Gopher hockey dying❓ No Vikings, Twins, Lynx, Wild, or FC United to compete against tonight. Maybe Gopher faithful are just waiting for Sunday's game t...

Great kid, but others on BSM roster are making this player better in regards to stats. No dog in race here, but hockey hub stats are often inaccurate and dont identify the best players for the next level. There are many scouts at BSM and other MSHSL games. There is no free pass for the leading point...

Slap shot: Hockey players transferring TO Hopkins would be a huge development. Youth players in the 1997-2000 birth years have been leaving Hopkins for Minnetinka or Tier 1 hockey. Please enlighten the forum of your knowledge. Thanks.

Lots of good defensemen. I thought Rossini, Helickson, Lindgren, Kelly, Staum, Denman, and Vescio have been consistently standing out.

All 6 D from district 3 advance. They must have been a tough group to score on this weekend. I would hate to have a forward in D10..tough competition. Congrats to all.

Good news for Tier 1 players...NHL scouts do not attend the MSHSL Hockey tourney and do not change their rankings bases on this tournament. This probably explains why all top juniors and seniors leave. The MSHSL tourney may be cute to watch on tv, but the real players are not there. Camarrata, Guent...

Do not apologize for the run-on question...This is the essnece of 9th grader who chooses to leave high school in the hopes of playing NHL hockey. It is one thing to put off college, but to put off high school and college is another animal all together. Maybe he is too good for the WHL after a couple...

This thread started out with a factually terrible post. It is pointless to name 50-100 98's before camps begin and compare point totals from this year. Shattuck, AA varsity top teams, bottom feeder varsity teams, jv squads, and bantams will be represented.

Do these players only play/practice with these teams on the weekends?

Is attending high school optional? On-line homework?

I wish all these players the best on and off the ice.

Shattuck has a golf "center of excellence." I guess if someone is going to pay $45,000 on golf, then $15,000 at a LAX in Mn might be a bargain.
