Heard the same news last night. Word is a nearby Jr Gold team got asked to take the kids that want to play still.

The board has taken a hard fall. I think part of it is due to the kids. They are more into Twitter and other social media. They don't care about these forums anymore.

This past monday the D8 associations voted to drop their JGB league and move into the Metro Hockey League. The motion passed. This move was backed by all the Jr Gold B coaches in D8.

how about STA and edgecumbe get their damn scores reported so we can have up to date standings. They have games 3 weeks old that have not be reported. As for who will make it to state. From an email I have seen sent out to IGH and SSP members the parent and coach were both reprimanded by the SSP hockey board. Its odd the coach was also reprimanded. Kinda makes me think that there is more to the story.

If the penalty was 5 min for fighting the suspension is 3 games for the first time and then if they didn't get the message and get in a fight again the player is removed for the year. Both players received 5 min majors and game misconduct and have to serve 1 game suspension. As for the Rosemount player taking his helmet off this is not what happened. The Lakeville player knocked the Rosemount players helmet off and then the Rosemount player grabbed the Lakeville kids mask. No pun...

from what i heard was that they had quite a few seniors come out that were cut from Woodbury, East Ridge, and Park and that with that talent they decided to field an A team.
