I don't know the exact figures every game , but I heard that Grand Rapids had regular season crowds approaching 3000 at home against Duluth East and also away at Hibbing. As far as I know, the biggest regular season non tournament attendance in the metro this year was 1900 for Stillwater at Hill Mu...

I used to cheer for Hermantown when they were relatively new on the tourney scene and facing private juggernauts. But that luster has since worn off. I respect their talent and skill but I don't respect the way they are doing it. I feel the same the way. i feel like if you polled 100 random HS hock...

Interesting. Cloquet is pretty loaded at that age group.
From Ryan Ullan's father: "Ryan is not and will not be playing for Cloquet. He is quite content playing hockey in his hometown of Hibbing with his friends!"
Lakeville North is always looking

Congrats to Elk River! Played an opportunistic game and buried a team that wasn't ready to play. Interesting to hear Klatt say post game the team has no identity right now and he took responsibility for them not being ready. In other 7AA action, was really surprised to see St. Francis win at STMA. ...

GR should finish strong -- if they are as advertised, they should only have a couple of challenges left and only 4 of 14 remaining games are away games. I doubt anybody is panicking.

GR can probably book their rooms for March in St Paul  8) After what East did last year I'll never again count them out no matter what seed they are. Can't go by momentum either, that is overrated. When Rapids went to state in 2007 they stumbled through the end of the regular season includin...

No chance Stillwater beats this squad. This needs a trip down recent memory lane: East is bad. They aren't even a top. 15 team. They will have no answer for Jaremko and Lutz. Randolph this Randolph that. Sorry hounds no trip to St. Paul this year. 7AA will be represented well with ER. Tourney will ...

How many teams roll 4 lines? From what I see the 4th line plays JV. Should make for some good competition. As Lou Nanne once said about the North Stars " to much talent". I believe Randolph has rolled 4 lines a lot in the past. Karl? By having 4 lines doesnt imply you have to "roll" them. Can roll ...

As stated above we don't keep all our talent many seem to head to DM, 1 goalie to GR this year too. That seems to be a new trend - the move to AA was a brilliant strategic move on the part of Marshall. Lets not lose sight of the fact that this current group of extremely hard working and deserving k...
