Re: Wayzata varsity to jga
Really? He was a varsity player a week ago. If you don’t think it’s relevant ignore and move on.

Wayzata varsity to jga
Anyone know why this kid went from varsity to jga? Seems like a fairly big loss for the varsity and overkill for jga.
9-0 win tonight over @Eagan_JGA. @ryan_mulrenin with a hat trick and 2 assists in his JGA debut. We’ve got Eagan again Saturday night at the shack.

This tweet would indicate that he's found a new home. Subtraction by addition?GoldenBear wrote: ↑Sun Dec 23, 2018 7:38 pm Looks as if Wayzata will be without Mulrenin the rest of the season...and next season. Hopefully addition by subtraction. GB

In talking to some of my JG contacts, this one does not seem to pass the sniff test. From what I’ve heard, this was brought to the MN hockey by the District 10 director, who has a kid on the Stillwater team. This would seem to be a conflict of interest. In addition, it appears that there was no Met...

Stillwater Roster
It looks like Stillwater lost 2 guys off of their varsity roster after their January 23rd game. Apparently they are now on the Jr Gold A team. Does anyone know what happened? Is such a late roster change allowed in JGA?

Saw the league not very good skill level, only covers kids from south and west twin cities teams. I don't think this is completely accurate. I believe anyone can play as long as there's room. I also think quality is decent. Is it the elite or D league? No, but that's why it exists. It was originall...

Based on their results over the weekend, they don't appear to be very balanced - lots of scoring from a very high-end top line. Need to find a stronger 2nd line from the rest.CakeScout17 wrote: GR balanced and fun to watch...so well coached. Klatt back is the key...

Rich Clarke For someone who doesn't seem to know a thing on Bishop and Luther, you seem to know a heck of a lot on all the other Edina players and where they played Bantams (A or AA) two years ago and where they are now!! Giles doesn't care if you made AA as a first year or not. I wouldn't question...

Giles passes up on players who have the skill to help out varsity for various reasons, from superiority complex, loose cannon, typically something with attitude. I guess we'll agree to disagree. I've witnessed a number of his cuts over the last few years that caused me to scratch my head. Two years...
