http://teamusa.usahockey.com/page/show/3565037 10/22 from MN (including 1 SSM). A player who played D to make it all the way to camp made it as a F. Great MN presence.. Only 1 less MN player than last year. The MN 99 forwards were the story last year and the MN 2000 D are the story this year. Also ...

For those of us that follow the MN girls throughout the process here is a recap on performance. 3 MN girls in the top 10 points, 2 - 2001 and only 1 - 2000. The girls from out East performed very well with the off-Ice strength and conditioning. My opinion the MN 00s players performed better last ye...

If you list points as poor performance which no scout or coach would go for it buddy. I watched pretty much all games. Your opinion of underperforming MN girls which supposedly "scouts and coaches agreed with" should be questioned. Please list your off ice stats in which you determined the East did...

I believe that is one of the main rules of this board and I will follow that. -- 2. No negative attacks or name calling -- Are you a...

Kids not invited to national camp are also invited to tryout for Elite League so they may receive a list of those in consideration for national camp or just have a list of top end players in general. I think you are doing a 2+2=5 here? Facts plus preconceived information has a variable that you can...

Is it just me or did a lot of the teams and games seem a step down talent wise from last year? Is the program getting so big the talent is becoming watered down? Don't get me wrong, tons of high end talent and still an amazing program and opportunity. Curious what you guys think. Just my opinion. V...

There are a lot of really good players that didn't make it. Which ones got screwed??? My guess is if you take the 10 that you think got screwed (at one level) and give them spots and take 10 out then we will simply have a different 10 that got screwed. Probably very little difference between the la...

Zam you have a lot to learn if you think 02's are going to Maine based off one weekend at the 15 spring festival! Making 29 saves in three games is hardly a big feat when you are playing in a watered down talent pool. There wasn't one 01 goalie last year that made Maine and I'm willing to bet there...

Getting back to topic, and to the main question the original poster raised: I recognize that not every girls hockey player in North America aspires to play women's college hockey or make the Olympic team. But there are many who do, who don't make the "right" team or are not from an association, tea...

Re: Striking Perspective on Elite/Selective Training for Gir
[/quote] The truth is that we are not doing a very good job of developing elite female hockey players in North America. Sure, we've won all the gold medals and continue to dominate on the world stage, but much of this success can be attributed to the sheer number of girls playing the game and the op...

By the way. Whats with the Palmquist statement? That one escapes me. Can someone enlighten me on that one. TGO99 has been ranting about privates playing single A for weeks. Palmquist is going to be watching the state tourney on Prep45 this year because of United, a private single A school. Wow pret...
