If you want to improve your podcast, it would be to improve sound quality for Karl. With technology that shouldn't be to hard to accomplish and it would really improve the podcast. Good content.

I think Delano will dominate this game. It's too early to say winner will get #1 seed. But Delano will win and will get #1 seed because they are that good.

I can count on very few fingers how many times officials have truly had a final impact on a game. The EP/HF game was one of those. Not to bash but it was just puzzling. The first coincidental penalty the EP shoved HF mask up over his nose and the HF didn't even react except for skating back to the b...

I agree that Blaine has not been playing great hockey past 2 weeks. They rely upon the Tufte line way to much so when he is not clicking team has tough time scoring. Tufte was sick against HM and they struggle for example. With all teams operating at 100% I see Blaine as 3rd best team right now. Yo...

Nice tie. But if the tie is that positive then the loses to Stillwater, Farmington...,Holy Family and Elk River need to be negative. To put teams you lost to below you doesn't make sense. The losses to ER and HF are negative, but the losses to Farmtown and Stillwater were so early in the season tha...

Yeah, I felt I had to reward Tonka somehow for the win over EP instead of just keeping the top 5 the same. Makes 2AA a bit more interesting, too. If EP wins the rematch with Tonka I'd still give them the top seed, but if Tonka wins again, give the Fire the top seed with Tonka at 2 and EP at 3. Your...

Based on where you have Lakeville North, you loose immediate cred. What makes you say that? They didn't lose to the number 1 team in the state and they are easily on of the deepest teams in the state. Centennial so far is the only team that has figured out the two trick pony in Blaine. Time will te...

"If EP wins the rematch with Tonka I'd still give them the top seed, but if Tonka wins again, give the Fire the top seed with Tonka at 2 and EP at 3." As someone who has followed EP HC Lee Smith and the old Section 6AA the last five years I can honestly say that even if Tonka were to beat...

I like the placement of Stillwater and Bemidji together. I guess the case could be made that Tonkas win last night launched them past HF to gain the #4 slot. Like you mentioned, theyve got a couple of tough LC games this week while HF has an easy one. Yeah, I felt I had to reward Tonka somehow for ...

So Tonka looses to Moorhead, STA (x2) one game was 9-3, Wayzata, PL and Hopkins. These are all teams that HF beat this year. Plus HF beat them head to head. Since January 22 they are 1-6-1. They also lost to 7th seed AC. So naturally Tonka gets a 2 seed and HF a 5 seed.

Edina's depth players aren't on varsity they are on JV and even Jr Gold. Those teams would both compete with 70% of MN varsity teams. A young man committing to the U after his soph year in Edina is really impressive and well deserved.
