Big dick Bobby might be a first rounder next year. He's a stud.

And yes in regular season that would have been 5 on Bob.

A point of emphasis next season has to be running the goalie, we probably have gone into double digits of this happening just in the televised AA games, with two penalties called. It happend in sections and the regular season as well. They have to protect the goalies better as they are defenseless....

It's for all the marbles. I understand boys going hard to the net. Loosen up the penalties on the D preventing guys going hard to the net. Let them lay the lumber and protect the goalie. I don't care what the game is for, they need to protect the goalie in his crease. Some of this, most of it, isn'...

What's the scoop on Loheit? He is a potential draft pick this year but doesn't seem to score. Loheit seems to have lots of untapped potential. He is big and skates well for his size. And he is also very young for his grade (late July birthday). He actually only played two years of high school hocke...

Apparently 14 games in four days is enough. Fans who don't agree can always go see the other games in person.
Well to be fair the only time 45 is relevant is during the state hockey and basketball championships.

Agree that it could be the best game of the year. This one is a coin flip, but if I have to pick one I'm leaning 50.1% Edina and 49.9% East. Game will probably be decided on the final play of the game. “It’s East and Edina, the cake from the north against the cake from the south. It doesn’t get any...

Thursday afternoon is always pretty open in the bottom bowl. Was hoping for a better crowd in the evening then showed. Friday has definitely become the day. The only thing that disappoints me is the number of fans that don’t stay for the game that their team isn’t playing in. I feel like everyone l...

Correct. Ref was out of position on that goal but luckily he got it right after talking with the replay guys.

Re: Maybe?

Overall, I thought the two best teams played the championship game and the deeper team with a better goalie won. That being said, i liked one of your JV goalies. He was quite technical and didn't flop around like a fish. Can't remember his number though. He could have gotten the job done. Hope he g...

Sorry the officials are so poor. Many of these guys do not ref or even youth hockey. Strictly high school. This is the first complaint about them I have seen. I don't think they have been bad really Boarding just needs to be called and it isn't much in high school. We call it in youth and college e...

Look for a 6-2 or 3 type game tomorrow.

Sorry I don't agree with that. Can't give two for a boarding with injury anyway. It was BECAUSE the hit took place before they crossed the goal line that it was a 5 minute major for boarding. The definition of boarding is NOT "intentionally illegal hit". It is "being launched into th...

I don't think he did it intentionally, but that looked really bad. Might be a result of the refs really letting them play. They could have called a handful of other penalties let alone another 5 minute major earlier in the game Everyone in the building except the ref knew that should have been 5 an...
