Is there any place we can see the rosters of these teams. I would love to see what teams are represented and the competition level.

On top of the finding kid argument, who found him?? Do you think if that kid plays at Moose Lake until he is a senior a USHL team will "find" him. No chance. A kid that plays a bad schedule like that until he is 18 will be found, in the stands of an NAHL roster if he is lucky.

I'm going with JSR. I have seen this a lot with southern minnesota kids. Even though they might make a team in the HP festival scouts will dismiss their stats because of their soft schedule and kids will get pushed down the lists because of the style of hockey they played all year. Scouts will take ...

Yep. As long as you are twice the size of everyone else your age your whole life and one of the top players for your age in the country they will find you. When they find you they will tell you to leave and go play better hockey because you are falling behind just like they did to Nelson this year. ...

There is no way the top Junior Gold A teams could beat many AA HS teams. Actually they would get crushed by the majority of the HS AA teams. JGA hockey is fun and it lets kids enjoy hockey at a competitive level and stay in the game. Completely false. The top few junior gold A teams - usually Wayza...

For the record I do realize that the best players from Pennsylvania are playing Midget hockey so basically it is the third string from Minnesota vs the third string from Pennsylvania. Must be exciting hockey.

Re: Bethel Park Pennsylvania 3 Wayzata Minnesota State Champ

Bethel Park Pennsylvania 3 Wayzata Minnesota State Champs 2 USA Hockey High School Nationals Bethel Park is the # 8 Seed in Class AAA in Western Pa and maybe some people from the State of Hockey will have a little more respect for our hockey players and schools here in Western Pennsylvania Congrats...

It shouldn't be Whit Bear. It either needs to be Hill Murray for the local rivalry, or it needs to be a top 5 team non conference. I would like to see Grand Rapids come down and play in this game. It would interest viewers from the whole state and it would most likely be a game between two top 5 tea...

That is why I am asking. I see that they have teams for certain age groups but that would mean Minnesota is opening up Tier 1 hockey to be played out of the affiliate right? If that is the case than be prepared for other Tier 1 programs to open up around the state.

Their website is wrong. There is no agreement with the Mounds View Youth Hockey Association. Gentry Academy is a charter school. As such, they need a public school district to act as an 'authorizer'. That would be Mounds View Public Schools (District 621). That's how it should read. They'll be play...

I would like someone from Gentry to actually answer some questions. Are they registering their teams as Tier 1? Is Minnesota Hockey allowing Tier 1 to play in their state? Do these kids only study at the rink or do they attend a school? I see they are registered USA Hockey but under what tier and wh...

LDC scores 4 goals. IDK if they win, but they score at least 4. Luverne goalie has not been able to play well enough to give them a close win all year, probably lost them a few games. He will crap the bed. LDC needs to shoot early and often, pucks will find the net. 7-4, 6-5 type game. Luverne wins...

As long as Luverne's goalie can stop 18 shots Luverne will win by a minimum of 4.

Winona's best shot is against Fairmont. There is always a chance against teams like Waseca but Fairmont will be the only one that I would say is up for grabs.

Luverne's old coach was a joke. Had some success because of the high end talent in a bad section. It is not like he developed that talent. Those kids came into his team exactly where they left it. Plus, he did a terrible job of actually getting those kids playing to their potential, overplayed his t...
