Michigan didn't win its conference. They lost to OSU already. They had their chance. They didn't capitalize on it. If Michigan would have won, I would be saying the same things about Ohio St. Florida didn't lose to Oregon St. They lost to Auburn, who is a pretty good team themselves. And for all the...

I would rather see Florida play OSU than Michigan. Heck, I would rather see Boise St. play OSU than Michigan.

blue raiders all the way. But this is going to come down to the wire. I just think that nobody can beat Peyton and the Bears defense.

Honestly, the team that scares me the most is ER's, even though he is in 4th. Why? 2 letters: LT.

Now look at the Big 10. Penn St. was not that good this year, and neither was Purdue. Yet they are the 4th and 5th best teams in the conference? And Wisconsin, who have they beaten? They faced 1 ranked team all year, and lost that one. Their two toughest games besides that were @ Purdue and @ a free...

ER, Arizona is another example of how the Pac 10 is deep. Their QB (Tuitama) was good when he wasn't hurt. And Zona beat other teams too, including Oregon, BYU, and Washington St. When they beat Wash St., the Cougars were ranked. And look what BYU has done this year.

Think of how explosive Cal's offense is with Lynch and Jackson. The fact that USC held them to single digits is impressive.

Since the Oregon St. loss, though, USC has won 4 straight games, and 3 of them were against ranked teams. Not only have they won, but they won convincingly. Their last 4 games: @ Stanford: W 44-0 #21 Oregon: W 35-10 #17 Cal: W 23-6 #6 Notre Dame: W 44-24 This is how Michigan has ended the year: @ Pe...

If I remember correctly, Washington St. was ranked at one point. Any team that allows 63 points to the Gophers is a gimme. Stanford is the only true gimme. Like Breeze said, Michigan struggled against BALL ST. And this was late in the year. All of USC's close games were A) earlier in the year, and B...

The Big 10 may have some higher quality teams up top, but the Pac 10 is deeper this year.

Because Michigan has already played OSU, and they lost. If they play in the NC game, what does that solve? If OSU wins, then nothing is learned that we didn't already know- that OSU is better than Michigan. If Michigan wins, then the game that happened last weekend matters nothing. The two teams spl...

For the record, USC lost to Oregon St., not Oregon. Personally, its a long shot for them to get in, but I think that Arkansas is the best of those teams trying to face Ohio St. Yes, USC killed them earlier in the year, but they played that game with their #3 QB, plus their RB Darren McFadden was hur...

It is still there.

And ae42, the March Madness league went smoothly. It was the fantasy baseball league that was the fiasco.

College football needs to be on campus. You don't realize how much better it is until you have been to somewhere like Notre Dame or USC (which I have done), and then compare it to the Metrodome. Recruits can't tell the difference? I don't think so. An on-campus stadium will lead to better recruits, ...

Starting would be something like 1 QB, 2 RB, 4 WR/TE, 1 K, and 1 DEF.

Scoring would be like 30 yards passing= 1 point, passing TD= 4 points, 20 yards rush/rec = 1 point, rush/rec TD= 6 points, etc.

It will be interesting to see what Boof can do. He will be better than Lohse (not that hard), but who knows how he will do. He pitched well in the minors, but once you get to the majors, it's a whole new ballgame. I also don't think the Twins year is over yet. They can still get back into the race i...

It will be one of the Eastern teams. Of the two, I will say Carolina, and they will face Anaheim. Here is how I would rank them:

1. Carolina
2. Buffalo
3. Anaheim
4. Edmonton

The only pick I don't like is the Cook one. Greenway is a solid pick, Griffin is solid, and Jackson gets his own paragraph (look at next paragraph for him). But Cook does not impress me. Re: Mock Draft

Most of both of your drafts are pretty good, but there are some trouble spots in them both.

boblee- Cutler will not go #4.
