They will be streamed and they will be freeBrodziak Fan Club wrote: ↑Sun Mar 28, 2021 10:14 am I recently switched to AT&T TV and don't think I get Channel 45. Will these games be streamed on the Channel 45 website? Is there a cost?

Re: Tournament on tv
Has anyone found an official box score (not those in the Strib hockey hub)? In years past on the MSHSL site, the game link would be in the class brackets after the game finished. As of now, nothing is posted. The Live Stats are also off a bit. Anyhow, these help in listing officials too, which is n...

Thanks! And apparently the length of the periods in 1955 were only 12 minutes, which is why that game was shorter than AV/East

Re: SECTION games Tuesday 3/23/31
Mahtomedi survives with 3-2 OT win All sections are 1 vs 2 seeds except 1A (1 vs 3) What about 6AA? I assume he means in Class A as Mankato East is the only top 2 seed not to make the sectional final. In Class AA, Cretin (#1 seed in 6AA) and Prior Lake (#2 seed in 2AA) are the top seeds to not make...

Longest Game
So does anyone know which is actually the longest game is state tournament history in terms of OT minutes played? People usually refer to the Apple Valley/Duluth East game as the longest, but the 1955 game between Minneapolis South and Thief River Falls went 11 OTs, which were 5 minutes each I belie...

Re: SECTION games Tuesday 3/23/31
Section's 4, 7, and 8 all seem like the home teams are the heavy favorite
But the two Section 6A games are two juicy matchups: that section could go to any of the four

Re: Official Section Seedings
What might we expect as far as live streaming section games? I don't want a bunch of posts about Class A section play-in games, just games of interest to most of us. (No disrespect to that Podunk/Swensenville - Johnson County West United 8 vs.9 match-up, I'm sure it will be a great game.) Section 7...

Hey Everyone: Here is a google docs spreedsheet I made with state tournament brackets, section brackets, a day by day calendar of section games. Re: New Section alignments for a three class state play-off
Might be getting to the time where Minnesota Boys HS Hockey converts from a two-class system to a three-class system similar to Michigan and Massachusetts. How about this as a starting point? A proposed Minnesota High School section alignment scheme based on a 3-Tier system considering strength of ...

Re: winter state tournaments
I would argue the fans are the whole point, especially the parents. Without fans, this is either (1) the Fall Elite League; or (2) some dystopian future which isn't far away, where all sporting events are TV events, the fans are optional and are told to stay at home, refereeing is controlled by oth...

Re: winter state tournaments
The idea that a child's parents wouldn't be allowed to watch their kids play in a hockey game at the X because of a 250 person attendance limit is unconscionable. They could put two people in each section and suite and stay under the 250 person limit. What an atrocious decision. Wouldn't expect any...

Breck at #10 =D> I thought I was being a bit of a homer having them at 11, but there aren’t really any great options at the tail end of the top 10 for Class A. Yep, we decided to ride those Mustangs again. They emerged through our very scientific process for determining the Class A rankings (aka To...

Re: YHH Podcast 2/28/21: Andy Lundbohm, Cade Ahrenholz

Sounds like Sartell usually has good youth teams but cant quite get over the hump at the varsity hs level Is Cathedral set to bounce back after this very...

I asked that question to Chelsie Brown, Sports Director of WDIO. Her response via twitter: "We plan on carrying the finals. It sounds like they will be on location at the higher seed, not at AMSOIL, so carrying the semifinals isn’t feasible for us"

Re: AA Rankings for 2/14/21
A few questions:
So where exactly would Hermantown be ranked if they were part of this ranking? How about Gentry?
Who was Grand Rapids supposed to play? Hudson/Superior?
If the EP/Benilde game streaming anywhere?
Appreciate the work Karl!
