Wblhcky;

for that exact reason i put them at 4. They have shown that they can show up when it matters but I'm not sure if that will be enough. Section top to bottom for the most part is competitive this year

I was at the Minnetonka-STA game. The shots basically reflected how the game was played. Tonka is a solid squad but the offensive pressure just wasn't always there at points. STA didn't completely annhiliate them but got 2 quick, beautiful goals in the third to take a 3-1 lead. Tonka got one late an...

Not necessarily White Bear, but I think someone in this section will upset HM. Maybe it's biased but they're down this year and one of these teams has to be fed up with the reign of the Pioneers. Stillwater shouldn't have much of a problem.

Reading this whole forum made me a little sick in all honesty. Dragging this kid through the mud because he decided to drink? The kid made a mistake! I really forgot all of the members of the forum are perfect people and were perfect as high schoolers! Imagine if he was your kid and you had to read ...

I know I'm late on this, but I felt I should say it anyway. Going to the State Tournament, or winning it is a dream for any kid growing up playing hockey in Minnesota, and most kids are lucky to even get one chance at either of them. Kids spend their whole life working up to that moment, and if they...

I can tell you right now, that is not a team full of individuals. Cates was right there when he scored that goal, so it made the most sense. Also, that same group has stayed together all through youth hockey, I don't know if they lost one kid. Good for the ponies, if I were Cates, I'd do the same t...

Honestly, no matter who is playing in the tourney, they will sell tickets. Private schools do make for better games at times, but people go to the tourney for the atmosphere of it. I know for Stillwater and Farmington, people were waiting hours for tickets, and you can bet that there will be a 2 hou...

I know this is late, but I think this was the best high school sporting event I have been to. Absolutely jam packed in Aldrich, insane atmosphere. Both teams played their hearts out the entire game. Begley played outstanding, young guys played well on both teams, should be a good one next year. Goal...

Personally, I am pumped for the tourney. Last year, none of the games were that close and it was pretty much the same teams as most years. New teams you get to see, and more kids from different get to experience the Tourney, also helping in growing the respective programs. Everyone on the forums wer...

I think Woodbury could beat Tartan, seeds 3-6 are all pretty even in 4AA. With that being said, a Tartan upset of Hill wouldn't be out of this world if you ask me

Now, I have no clue whether or not they recruit. But if I wanted my kid to play in a good association, I do think Hermantown would be a good one. A hard working program that plays clean and let's their playing do the talking. Maybe some kids just wanna go there

Watched Tufte tonight, one of the most dynamic players I've seen at the HS level. But boy, does he have an ego. Watched him take runs at kids after the whistle tonight half his size and talk to refs for 5 minutes after a period. Hopefully he can fix that or maybe the Roseville players were giving h...

I don't think Roseville will be above either, but I have seen them play and they can definitely beat both. 4/5 matchup should be good this year. Tart/WBL/RSVL have all been up and down this season so it will ultimately come down to who shows up. 3/6 matchup could be good also.

HShockeywatcher, I promise you it would not work out that way. Now, I am not going to take anything away from Nelson, he's obviously a hell of a player if he's going to the gophers, but frankly it's not that hard to put up a lot of points down there. 100 is spectacular and utterly insane, but I watc...
