Hmmm........interesting. Strange, but interesting.
I don't think it is strange because another Bushy is headed there.

It's just another version of the "everyone gets a trophy" scene with regards to parents, players, etc. As said earlier with regards to junior teams, it's a simple albeit shady way to pad their marketing claims (We had xxx college commitments last year !" But not mentioning xx of those "commits" were...

Congrats to them. But the "commit" statement here and elsewhere for D3 hockey is interesting. :P Yeah, that term is thrown around liberally when it comes to D3 athletics, even though there is no NLI or scholarship involved. Even the junior leagues seem to have a lack of understanding as to how the ...

One of the more "humorous" elite league moments was a few years back when Oliver had most of the egf squad on an elite league team. And he was the coach of that team. Nothing like a few extra months of team practice before the season starts. :P What year was that? I can't recall EGF kids being on t...

The EGF board has approved the hire of Tyler Palmiscno as boys hockey coach. Palmiscno led EGF to state titles in 2014 and 2015 before taking the last three years off. Looks like EGF Boys Coaching Position is now open as well: https://www.applitrack.com/egfk12/OnlineApp/JobPostings/View.asp?AppliTr...

I think TRF is one of the top candidates to host the next time Hockey Day is up North.
Where in TRF ? No place is even remotely set up for it.

To funny. Sounds like when people argue about their favorite politician. And very similar in another way; neither the politicians or any school gives a rats behind about any of us.
Yet people defend them both like they're some close relative that is getting insulted.

Thanks. Very cheap compared to P2P teams in the American leagues. Sounds like a hybrid pricing where a portion comes from players and a portion comes from attendance.

You also have the Superior International Junior Hockey League with the Minnesota Iron Rangers and Theif River Falls Norskies. The league falls under the Canadian Junior Hockey League umbrella. Isn't that covered under the free-to-play I mentioned? If it is what I think it is that should be a peg ab...
