WBL Bantams
I am a White Bear Graduate who still follows the Bears, but doesn't live in WBL anymore. I see the WBL Bantam A teams is highly ranked. Who are the solids players who will be stepping up the next few years?

Bears Spuds
Great game. Very Physical. Jordy Christian was checked heavy behind the WBL net by Kleidon late in the first and did not return. White Bear out shot Morehead 26 to 18. Faust made several great saves in OT when WBL was shorthanded.

Was impressed with the sophmore W Nick Theilen for Moorhead. K...

Re: upset????
Cretin got 2 soft goals in the 1st Period. Hastings goaltending pretty much stunk all night. Cretin did dominate at times. Hastings top line with Stewart and Stepan is very good as is CDH's top line of Hickey, Kinne, and Borher. You guys see that Don Lucia and Mike Guentzel were there scouting someo...

Hill Murray vs AHA January 21
What time is this game scheduled. I know White Bear and Hastings are scheduled at Aldrich also. So I'm guessing one of the games is an afternooner. Need to know because I don't want to miss that one and I need to get time off of work if it's in the afternoon. Thanks.

I know, I read the column too. He is a young kid and if his girl friend decides to go to MSU Mankato everything could change.
9th grade is a little early to verbally commit and shows some arrogance on somebodys part.

My 5 year old Termite has verbally committed to the University of Minnesota in 2020. He decided he may need a year in the USHL before he is ready for D-1 hockey.

...

Shattack
If your kid is good enough and you can afford it look in to Shattuck-St. Marys Prep School in Faribault. This program kicks out more Division 1 and Pro prospects than any other school in Minnesota.

Re: mn schools
A lot is going to depend on the age and skill level of your son. I would suggest Hastings a river town with a small town feel. Good hockey, football and baseball programs and 20 minutes from St. Paul and 35 from Minneapolis. The Suburban East conference is one of the most competitive in the state.<b...

Re: Best High School Arena in the State?
I like Aldrich for sentimental reasons. I have watched hundreds of games there. St. Thomas Academy is a very nice new arena, as is St. Croix in Stillwater even though the sight lines ares kinda funky.

Both Hill and White Bear very good on defense. Hill may have better defenseman, but White Bear forwards are always back helping out.

AHA
Academy of Holy All Stars. They can fly. I think a team that can slow them down in the neutral zone, get physical and stay out of the penalty box can beat them. We will see. I will be at the X tonight.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserPublicProfile?gid=grovetownscot...

Re: Hill outduels BSM 7-2
I was impressed with the play of BSM through two periods. I liked their two sophomore D-Men McCarthy and Student. Very well coached team with Larry Hendrickson. Like I said good game through 2. The goal Hill got at the end of the 2nd seemed to take the wind out of their sails. Mike Hoeffel by far th...
