The myhockeyrankings are up... I see Warroad is #10 on strength of schedule. According to this they play the toughest schedule among single A teams and 10th toughest overall? Quite a jump from years past for them when they played the cream puff schedule. For the math guys am I reading this right?

Any thoughts on the first round of games? Not a lot of excitement in the first 2 games. Very weird chain of events on Warroad’s second “goal”. Replay saved them from a momentum change. The last game was closer but I think it proved that River Lakes should have got the 5th seed.

What are the takes on the Andover/Warroad game? After watching I am convinced Andover’s D corp is the best group in the state. They are physical and take away the hands first. They are always moving their sticks and they play disciplined, smart hockey. I thought Warroad did a good job of matching up...

Big game tonight in Orono. It will be interesting to see how Orono fairs against Gentry. Might be the best D that Orono has faced this year?? I would say this is a bit of a must win for both teams to keep their spots in the rankings.

I am curious if anyone attended the Andover vs Warroad game or heard a report. They handled SSP it looks like and then the quick turn around game. The score was close till the third with Andover. Can Warroad play with anyone as Moosepaw claims or were they just lucky?

I understand P/H is undefeated and that is a great accomplishment and I know they were handcuffed by only being able to play local teams but...If Gentry and Warroad had been told they could only play in their section, conference, or locally odds are they would be unbeate...

The Hub had the shots at 43 for Gentry and 27 for DC with DC outshooting Gentry 4-2 in the OT so I assumed it was a bit of a goaltender dual. DC's goalie seems to be very good and capable of keeping the game close just needs some scoring in front of her. Is she being looked at by anyone?
